Jett has been crowned already by a lot of the media, so the last two weeks have sucked for him. Going from talks of winning streaks to not being on the podium has got to be frustrating. Don’t have a problem with him waiting for Anderson to discuss his choice of lines. You see it all of the time, no big deal. But when Anderson went to leave and Jett grabbed his shoulder, Jett escalated. You don’t put hands on someone else unless you’re committed to the consequences. Based on his apology, it seems like he owned up to it. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s over though. If you’ve ever competed in virtually any sport, you’ve probably said or done things in the heat of the moment, that you later realized weren’t the best decision. It happens.
Odds are that Jett will win more races this year, but I guarantee that no one is going to just pull aside so he can go through. They’re going to make him earn it. I’m not a fan of either but the real suck in this situation is that Plessinger gets his first win and it’s obscured by this drama.

As a guy who made a living fighting and now makes a living training people how to fight, I couldn't cringe harder than when guys on this forum bring up fighting. For one, they are both suited head to toe in MX gear so why is it even a conversation? And two, they are dirt bike racers. Not fighters. A super flyweight would send any rider, regardless of size, on that gate to another dimension.

Two years ago at a post race press conference he made a joke about ending Forkner's season. Then last year when asked about his brother's title chances, he stated Jordon Smith had never been a serious title contender ever.
