San Francisco Mudder?

Right? .5” over a 15 hour period won’t create horrible conditions. .5” in a 2 hour period like NJ last year would be rough.

Thanks...BW, it's gonna be wet then...Shocked

I have no clue on the forecast 😂 I’m on the opposite coast. Just hoping the rains spread out throughout the day. This week has been too long to have a mudder.

For sure. Unlikely to happen but the last thing we need is a cancelation of the event.

15h22 here in the Arsehole of Africa. I'm about to get the barbaque started up with a few beers. Early dinner then early to bed so that I'll have the energy to stay up at the ungodly hours we face due to the time difference.

Was gonna post Broc walking through the mud. Looks like the variety of mud that sticks to everything, heavy...make some pottery with it post race type of mud.

Half the track is gonna end up leaving the stadium on the bike or rider.

Vince is going to delegate his takeout responsibilities to Mother Nature for this weekend.

He may still ride. The team said that they'd see how he felt today.

Edit - Courtesy of the RacerX Injury Report.

Vince Friese went down in Anaheim after getting together with Dean Wilson. It looked like he was holding his hand after getting up and walking up the tunnel, but we were unable to verify any specific injury at time of posting (we've heard it might be a shoulder injury but the team would not specify). The team did tell us the decision on whether or not Vince would race in San Francisco would be made on race day.

I know what 0.5 is but not sure about your San Fran weather is like when I have folk telling me it rains for like 200+ days a year.

More like wanting to hear from ya all who lives there. I don't really have much confidence in weather reports.

Well it's showing rain most the day.  It will for sure be rutted and slick.  Looking like it might lighten up around practice and the another cell around 5-6.  How bad it gets will depend on if the heavy cells hit the stadium or not.  Hard to predict that exactly.  The heavier rain looks like it won't be until 7ish or later.  They might get lucky and miss that!

The race isn't likely to see heavy rain, in my opinion, being 2500 miles away looking at radar and pressure maps.

Thanks Prozach, so it's going to be a good wet one.

The broc glover report last night didn't look good, thick wet dirt and water standing in many areas.

It's already raining in east bay, so with constant rain all day, it's not looking good.

This mornings local weather shows rain until 10am.  Dry untill race time.  Then the winds and rain pick up.  They say a half inch of rain in the next 36 hrs per the local cbs station

This should mix up the results a little.  I think we are in for an interesting evening!

I either made genius picks in fantasy, or I'm getting zero points. Lol it's really a toss up.

I don’t care what the weather does as long as we go racing 😎

Same here.  I think Tomac might surprise a lot of folks.  He’s a better mud rider than people realize.

Won’t be a mudder unless it rains.

Same…. I don’t mind a messy race.  It adds to the unpredictability of the outcome.  The fastest dirt bike racers are usually still the fastest even as the conditions change.  But the wildcards do come in to play.

not looking good for who? spectators? Last I checked the riders are paid weather it rains or not, so what is not looking good?
