Hate to say it with a week out, but forecast is not looking good. Usually, a bit skeptical so far in advance, but .5 and .4 inches on Friday and Saturday is no joke… dare I say Biblical Unsure

here’s Weather Underground’s forecast:

We shall see when we get a few days out. Just happy they had the race in SF versus Oakland. If it’s a mudder then it will be a crap shoot. Ill Be there regardless!

It’s not going to be a mudder.

Does this mean McGraths record is safe for another week?

Perhaps. Jett could get 71 wins next weekend whether we like it or not, mudder or dry!

I don't know about a proper mudder, but the forecast is currently looking like it might be wet and greasy.

I assume they will be using the same dirt as the Oakland stuff. It’s pretty good at holding moisture. They also mix in some sand. I expect it to be rutted and soft but unless it’s raining hard the day of, it will be fine.

One thing to consider is that NorCal has been getting a lot of rain lately.

If the dirt is stored uncovered, it's probably already rather wet. If covered, then it might take the rain better.

Prado with the holeshot and mud win✊. Probably not, but depending on how bad it gets, maybe?

This is inaccurate, I have to assume you don’t live here. Although I guess we could have different definitions of “a lot”.

Can we get a JT$ weather prediction for the weekend?

If the current forecast holds, there will be some rain in the morning and none in the afternoon.  Could be sloppy but not looking like a mudder:

Damn, 0.48 inches is a LOT. Historically, Anywhere near 0.5 inches is a full on mudder. East Rutherford last year was about 0.40 inches. San Diego 2019 had about 0.67 inches. Seattle 2018 about 0.63 inches.

I have been following the forecast and the rain has been trending downward every day.  But you are correct, if it rains for a few hours in the AM and they get close to 1/2" it will be sloppy for the evening show.

It is very accurate.

Rode Argyll on Sunday and the deeper the rut the wetter the dirt was. Never reached the hardpack in any of the deep ruts.

It's been raining steadily in SF since about 9 this morning. Which means I won't get to ride Club tomorrow. Sad
