Only $10 for all 2026 SX, MX, and SMX series.
It’s not cookie cutter and it’s incredibly simple to understand if you’re not an idiot (not directed at you aeffertz).
He is the first rider to ever win their debut 450 SX race. That’s it.
How fucking dumb are you guys that don’t get this lol
Based on peoples comments and logic.
- Prado isn't a rookie either because he raced MXGP's.
- Deegan wasnt a rookie last season because he raced a few MX nationals prior.
- Jett isnt a rookie in supercross because he raced SMX.
If people think Jett has raced supercross due to him doing SMX.
Why doesn't Jett have a Number 1 plate like Sextons at A1? or is SMX and SX two different series? cant have it both ways to suit your argument.
"Jett didn't win his first 450 SX because he raced SMX."
"Is Jett a 450 SX champ?"
"No, that was SMX."
My point.. people clutching at every straw to avoid seeing history

Its crazy because most of the records out there can be beaten but jetts perfect rookie season and winning his first ever 450 sx can only be tied never beaten. The kid is truly something special.
Not to derail the topic, and props to Jett but didn't Tomac win the first pro race he entered, an outdoor 250 race and didnt he go 1-1? Im surprised that isn't brought up more. Who else has done that?
He did but they’re talking about SX.
Won his first 450MX race.
Won his first 450 MXoN race.
Won his first 450SX race.
But didn’t some one win the 1st ever sx? Would that also been a rider winning there debut sx? Or doesn’t there 1st race count?
BTW with the win at A1 Jett moves up to 26 career wins, equal to Ron Lechien.
Or does he have 28?
Ha! Last I read they weren't counting SMX races and titles in official records.
That makes it more like a glorified monster cup then I thought.
I kinda thought it would be ignored for now. But give it a few years and see where it actually slots in. And if it becomes something then count them. Or at least count the overalls to be national wins. If it fizzles out to be a gimmick then not count then.
Things change and evolve at one stage we had 125, 250 and 500cc races they all counted to national wins.
Winning the smx championship doesn’t entitle the winner to a single digit number like a national Sx or Mx title does. It really is a “monster cup” race. Maybe that changes in the future though
Well said. Love how everyone ignored this

Not his first 450 race!!!!! Are you super simple? Can you honestly not understand what winning a very first race in a class for the first time means? WCRider = Simple Simon
Yes Roczen won A1 as a rookie, as did Reed, but neither won A1 as their very first 450 SX race. Rookie and debut are two different things.
My post "TRUMPS" your post

So they guy who has an undefeated 450 national season and is the current WSX champ is a rookie? I think my definition of rookie is different than most.
Isn't it already too late? At least as far as motocross is concerned?
I wasn't being completely serious but how so ?
I got what you’re saying. But at least as Far as MX is concerned RC never lost a title. But there are plenty of people talking like he could take the crown from RC which to me is crazy at this point in his career a couple years from now and his dominance is unchallenged and then you could bring it up.
Hello everyone, Did Tortelli did it at is fisrt race in the Coliseum? I think it was is first Ama supercross ever (Not even race the lite class before). Not really sure... Have nice day for all.
I think I saw something that he did/tried a race the year before that
I have to ask him...
