Yes, “Feburary” 24. Pax Trax, Bunnell, Florida. Not far from Daytona.

Wow, that is a lot of money to round up. Should be a ton of entries.

I’ve only been to Pax a handful of times, I don’t recall much parking area ( ?).  This thing could potentially draw a few thousand spectators (?) the week before Daytona SX

Pax is my local track and you are absolutely right. Not a ton of parking or spectating room but they will probably park people out front by the campground up towards US1. I'm sure they will have it figured out and it should be a great event.

I'm prettyyyyy sure that this payout is based off full entry of 100 riders & I really do not think 100 riders are going to show up at $1500 an entry. I also found a different payout saying 30k to win instead of the OP 25k.

Total entry fee is 150k at 100 entries & the payout is 143,400. That's less than 100% payout...seems like it's a normal payout they just inflated the numbers to make it sound good. It will also be adjusted accordingly when half the expected field shows up.

AMA Rules gonna play a part, even if its unsanctioned. Is everyone forgetting the Cash prize racing rule for amateurs? Any cash prize class is considered an A class. Also if a 250B kid races in the 250 Open class, he can no longer race B Class after that. So how are they going to get away with that? Don't get me wrong I like the idea, but it goes against decades of standing AMA Racing rules.

they are paying out amateur classes in contingency, not cash. That's been the workaround ever since I can remember.

All racers in ALL classes can choose to race for a VISA CONTINGENCY card or cash

On our website motomoneyshootout.com under rules and payouts there is a break down for the 50 entry and 75 entry levels per class. The 30K winning pay out is the new updated CORRECT pay out also notice the other classes have been updated and increased as well. The Original 25K pay out format was us holding back money our original plan was to give away 6 bikes. 1 for each class but the dealership we were working with changed managers so we put that money back in the pot. Your are 100% correct it is slightly less then 100% pay back for we have to operate and run the race. We by NO means are trying to promote  anything but what the race is if anyone has any questions we are here to try and answer them.

It always blows my mind how many privateers who cry about how hard it is to make money don't show up at Tampa while Chiz goes and cleans up most years. Hopefully the race at Pax will make it impossible for the privateers to ignore. Should be a pretty fast week in Florida. Add in the Alligator Sprint Enduro and the GNCC at Hog Waller and it's dirt bike heaven.

Does appear that if you’re finishing top 25, you’re breaking even or making loot (if your class is full)ColoradoMXDESNATIONS 053.jpeg?VersionId=BmFEEOS9n4Dk m ja6S9I

I wish it was in Late April. Drop the 50,65 classes . Add 125 & 250 2st separate classes.  And make the 125 class the biggest payout. You hv a chance to get 125 emx riders then.  A Dutch 125 National & emx  rider VS 125 Florida or USA sand specialist. There your big race.

The purse comes FROM the entries,I hope it works but how many people are gonna pony up $500 to $1500 per entry. Dry

Reminds me of that amature series that was giving away new trucks and trailers etc etc and then it was won by a sandbagging pro from the UK , I think his name was Snow and he was in with the Chatfields.

Idk if the promoter takes credit card for entries but if they do most privateers should put this on their CC and go race then pay off the card a few days after. All real pro privateers shouldn’t have any issues being top20 and make a profit.

I feel like this race might bring some European guys, non factory National or GP riders if it’s during a weekend off GP’s or national championships. They could rent a bike for the day and bring suspensions and couple parts. Guys like Kullas should show up.
