Sorry bud.  We're talking about real professional racing, not 2nd rate stuff in Australia that a fast B rider from California could dominate.

My mistake, you're talking about AMA Pro Racing where an Australian teenager can dominate!

Had to come here to find any form of competition.  He'd probably lap the field twice each moto if he'd stayed in Aus.

Dangerboy should race a yz125 after he wraps up the title to prove how uncompetitive they are.

What Brian said on Deegans live is(I think), that 2502t should be allowed in the lights class, and 125s should have there own class outdoors. Maybe I got it wrong, but he covered a lot I thought it was cool.

Well the fella that won the Aussie championship this year, went to the states once too, holeshot and lead most of the moto on a non factory bike……

Talking about it on YouTube doesn't accomplish much. The fastest, most popular guy in the class showing how ridiculous the displacement advantage is would go alot farther to push the rule change.

This must be that famous "he figured out social media" I keep hearing about Brian.

Fiddles. The lot.

A 125 National class should be a no brainer and fairly uncontroversial. Im sure the reality is probably 33% more work on the track owners, that much more tv coverage, all for relatively little increase in ticket sales ect

Honda,  suzuki,  kawasaki and the epa would have something to sat about that.

I think it would need to be a pro/am support class, no tv, two 20 min motos. Basically a more serious version of all stars, ran at the venues that want to run it. A true feeder class. Not sure how the support class worked in the trans ama days. It would be interesting to know what Roger, Mitch, and Jody would think about it. One of these podcast guys should ask them.

Ken Roczen did that in 2011 I believe after wrapping up the world title. Think he still went top 5?

edit: he got 4th in the qualy and 5th in moto 1. Crashed out of moto 2

Exactly, legendary move. Big difference is at the time noone was pushing for equal displacement rules. If the Deegans are looking for a new angle to be popular they could be the head of the Smoker Justice Warriors.

Rather than "The General has spoken", regarding this topic it's more like ...Captain Obvious repeats what everyone has been saying for years.

Very true. To be fair, he was taking live guestions and someone asked and he gave his opinion.

I don't think the EPA is really a factor here.  If the 125 class became a thing, I'm sure Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki would produce bikes.  If not, they miss out on sales.  Kawasaki and Suzuki have collaborated before, and Honda can put out a 125 if they want to.

A 125 class will be good for our sport.  It's needed.  The jump from 85 -> 250F is too great a leap.

Besides, 125 races are incredibly awesome to watch.

I think Honda, Kawi and Suzuki gave up the right to have a say about 125 racing 15 years ago.

Had no idea who “the general” was. When free riding turned into FMX I quit watching/following that stuff.

Dang, so you missed out on what Travis, Metzger, and all those guys did, and Robbie Maddison jumping up on that building on Red Bull new year no limits?(hopefully someone can post that Robbie new years jump for me, thanks).

Honestly, the real OG of FMX in my mind is EVEL.

Also, I think FMX pushed SX a little further.

Yes Evil was the OG and yes I saw some of those guys bigger runs on x games highlights but tuned out when the MM costumes and antics came out.  Couldn’t get past the WWE flavor of it.  I did see Madison’s step up as well.  Not considered FMX in my book but more of a stunt akin to Evil.  MM was/is not my cup of tea.

I always wondered how many more lites titles and premier class titles Barcia would have had if 4 strokes never existed.

If 4 strokes never existed, Barcia wouldn’t have any Lites titles because that moronic name would have never been introduced. But I agree with the idea that Barcia would have several 125 titles.

Agreed.

Even at a local race, 125 Pro was THE race to watch.

Definitely should allow 2T in the 250 class.
