Carson vs Kenny RM125

Just finished watching it, awesome! Just wished they rolled out the RM250’s at the end. 

Just proves again that Carson is ”instagram fast”. Lovley kid, but precision beats wfo.

Dude, he was 1 second off of an elite rider. Saying Carson is just "Instagram fast" is ridiculous.

That was awesome! I would be ecstatic to be off of Kenny's time by only a second in anything. Good job Carson and awesome idea for a show.

Cool that he was that close to Kennys time very impressive, I do think the weirder the bikes get the bigger advantage for Carson haha. I think people forget that Carson raced 250SX in 2022 and had a few top tens.

Multiple finishes inside the top 10th 250 SX and being close to KR in a fun face off is instagram fast to you? Lmao

I wish they would do one on the 250 and then on the 500. Kenny will probably win on both, but Carson is doing pretty freakin good 👍 

As close as they are in speed on these bikes, I don't think DB's manual stopwatch timing is precise enough to say who is definitely faster. Not that it matters, these videos are a blast anyway. If they do the '83 RM500 (fingers crossed) I think Carson comes out on top.

I'd have to go back and look, but top 20 in a Natonal on a 250 2-stroke. "Instragram fast." Sure, sure. 

Insta fast my ass, Brown is a legit pro. He's damn fast! That said, how fast does KR94 get with weeks and set up on that bike. Kenny was made for a two stroke!    

The biggest diference for me is that Kenny go with flow and momentum and Carson ride over agressive some corners and kills momentum.

Kenny last lap left turn after the small tabletop was impressive, he carried so much speed in the entry and thru all corner. 

Dont get me wrong, i respect so much Carson. He does amazing things on all bikes just my point on what is one of the best mx Riders and a good rider.

Hope the do an Rm 250 video... 

If Suzuki had any business savvy at all, they should re-release the last version of the RM125/250. They would make millions.

Agreed...I mentioned the same thing a while back.       THey could use all the same tooling,  just throw on updated forks/shocks some other minor off the shelf updates. 

Affordable, solid/proven products.        It's been workin for Yamaha.

While KTM group  is producing 2-strokes...they're insanely priced.      Beta. etc....also high priced.

The rm125 imo was better than the kx or cr125, and had great potential for power to do well against the yz125. If people think they even come close to the recent carbed ktm125 then you are high.  Ive owned two of each fwiw.

Can't talk for efi,  sure those bikes just need dialing in.

Pastranas 01 rm125 was on par with Langston,s Ktm rocket. Watch G. Baily 01 Unadilla Tp is riding the raged edge. I had a few rm125,s 01 being the last 1 Srs piston, srs hgs pipe, carbon tech reeds, fmf ignition made by wolf, stronger that a ported bike .  After 2. 1/2 hrs the rm,s feel washed out & sloppy, won’t hold a line, frames crack, clutch basket is butter, trans blow up. You ride them out of control. Hitting deep square holes it’s big crash time. I got tired of that. Comparing 04 rm to cr ported engines. The cr is much stronger but harder to ride. The chassis kills the rm not even close.  Cool vid tho. What yr is the rm any mods ? It sounded stock.  Looks like they had fun   Why don’t they say this rm is fun to ride. Because they r . There just not made very well.  125 specialist ride a lot usually addicted to the feeling of flow& usually hv a practice bike.  

Yeah Ken was smooth & efficient, stay on top & don’t cut in.  I finished 2nd on a 125 & just need a 1/4 more of a lap to win against a gate of 500,s . On steep hilly  deep wet sand track. Good to see Sipes healthy didn’t he hv a big injury ?  He’s the last 2-st all star winner.  Our local Green Bay boy had the win but shot wide & stopped. Sipes cut inside rode it in.  Looked odd like it was Ktm orders.  I thought Wyatt was Jack Chambers the 1st time I watched the iron man race. The way Wyatt sling shot off corners & pulled 1/2 a straight away. That’s how you ride a 125.
