1983 125 pro class SSM on the gate before the start. The 2 top riders made a deal to split the win money and take out a known dirty rider. The deed was done and the rider left with a broken arm. One of these riders ended up being a factory rider and later went on to own his own MX aftermarket company. For the life of me I can not understand why no one has ended Vince’s career.

The reason there would be no Vince is because the riders would give it right back to him. Todays riders are to polite, and quit frankly, pussies. If someone decided to park vinnie, he would stop, but they don’t, so he keeps on.
Because they'd be crucified for it and they all know it. Collectively it'd be great for the sport to have guys like Vince gone. On an individual level it's not worth it for anyone in particular to be the guy to do it. Guys shouldn't have to police their own sport anyway. This isn't call your own foul playground basketball. A decent sanctioning body would park him and his bike for a long time for every incident until it stopped being a palatable financial endeavor for sponsors to put their name on his parked bike. What guys would have done before the invention of camcorders isn't really relevant today.
