Not sure how anyone could watch that and not cheer for Hunter.

Couple of classic lines as well:
”…I had too much faith in him, the little shit.” Referring to Jett.
” …flat out like a one armed bricklayer in Baghdad.”

😂

Just wait until he tries that with Eli, Barcia, Webb, etc..

It is Supercross, the only way he is going to win at times is by making those moves on those riders. Just like all those riders made the same moves on their way to the top and supercross championships and Wins.

From what I gather it is sort of part of the sport, part of any motorsport, rubbing is racing and all.

Though it is not like Jett has really gone out of his way to purposely clean someone out yet, tough racing yes, occasional over enthused or mistake while passing yes, but I don't think he is the straight clean out guy, Hunter on the other hand I feel can and will be more ruthless during his 450 career.

I am convinced all the Jett hate is just butt hurt American fans who cannot handle anyone but Americans winning and their constant criticism and complaining is just bitterness which they want to project onto both Jett and Hunter. I find it hilarious that they seem so concerned for Hunter but in there next breath a lot of what I am reading is that Hunter won’t crack the top 5 next year in SX I think he is going to surprise a lot of people.

i have been saying this for a long time........they wish all be best raced in america as long as an american would win !!!!

latelly they have been bitter as fuck, things dont look good for their side !!!!! so they do what they are used to, they make up shit, they spread hate, they make up the trough itself to serve their purpose.....and they belive in it !!!!!!!!

like the deegan kid, all of a sudden he is captain america !!!!! ( the only american with wins ) he is americas hero !!!!!! but he didnt even want to represent america in MXdN, so they all started the bitching about economics and logistics of the race, making it look like it is a shitty race, the same race that just last year was the greates event ever !!!!!!!!

i hope the Lawrence family is really strong and united, cuz the american motocross comunity is going to try everything break then and put evil on them......they have done it to all other non american that were successfull

Dude you gotta chill out. I was just at the SMX finals. Kenny and Jett (both non-Americans) got the biggest cheers of anyone there.

Yeah Jett definitely wont be making any friends if he thinks he's going to get away with that kind of racing. Anderson and Barcia will put him on the ground just for a 450 welcoming ceremony.

Anderson and Barcia would first have to have the ability to catch him.

Mookie as well.

I like Jett, but Mookie will wait for lap just to punt him into the cheap seats...

You strike me as someone whose mom is probably still young, but doesnt look good enough to give me a boner.

Right? I mean, we live on different sides of the country, but there's about a 1% chance I took you out or you took me out in some race or another back in 1997. Grinning

Hahah, aint that the truth! Every moto we were stoked af if we got the chance to run someone off a berm with a block pass. And if it was a prick of a dude, then sliding up under his front tire was even better. I was more excited about some killer passing than i was about a podium in some cases. We high fived each other afterwards a lot of the time.

People always say shit like this and every time its a useless comment. People have been riding aggressively since racing was invented, there was nothing special about the 90s. You guys make it sound like people were throwing haymakers left and right, on and off the track and that wasn't happening. People just talk more about it now because of the internet.

Nah, it wasnt about haymakers MOST of the time. It was about aggressive racing being the norm. We lived for block passes and contact. Hardly anyone made a big deal about it. Lots of times, we laughed our ass off about it afterwards. Occasionally a prick would show his ass with some dirty riding. He usually got what was coming to him at some point though. Its said because it was a fact. Not useless banter.

I had to sign it to give you post a thumbs up as I appreciate the insight into early life in the Lawrence house.

Also wanted to say that one image that always sticks with me is seeing your two sons throwing huge whips on their matching 125s when they were all of 4 and a half foot tall at Wollongong supercross or them putting in the work at Appin MX during practice days.

I think you are confusing people talking about it with people having a problem with it. Asking questions like "was he ok with it" is normal banter, especially in the age of social media and is not the same as saying "that move was bullshit, he should be penalized for it, it was way over the line".
