Has anyone 'asked' for Reed's bike? It looks like an oil freighter compared to his Zooki. RV must be a bad man to ride that pile the way he is. Anyway, that's what I got out of Big James' comments. Ya'll read into it whatever you like.

I still can't believe they don't offer the ride to Ferry (OK, just kidding)...

But they should really consider Fabien Izoird.

He is 2 X European SX Champ ('08, '09) and impressed all Americans in Bercy (was dicing with Hill the third day, which Hill won), including Matthes (LOL).

His current ride in the US (on a Kawi) is thru a passionate French dealer, who I'm pretty sure would be keen to let him go for that "opportunity of a lifetime" !

If Ferry REALLY can't take it, then I believe Izoird would put that bike inside the top 10 or top 8 on almost every week-end and do a good job for Monster Kawi.

I think Dietrich was thinking about doing a couple SX rounds anyway, it makes sense to put him on the bike...he has proven himself, he is already on the Kawi payroll (same sponsors etc.) and he rode for the team last year so he is comfortable working with everybody and shouldn't have to adjust much.

As far as Reed saying nobody is going to be riding his bike, I bet the sponsors will have the final say in that...I guess we'll find out this weekend.

i thought the sponsors want the bike out on the track,rather than sit ideal.or was that all teams minus factory teams.

Agreed, the team just wants Reed to feel important, which he is, but, seeing the bike out there every weekend is even more important to the ones with the money. We will see someone on it soon, or else!
