SND Added a reply to Joey Crown crash

This could've been caused by a few things: 1. a small burr on the bar mount 2. a previously bent aluminum bar that was bent back into place 3. an old handlebar that has run through its yield strength.
Back when it was all two strokes- we did that to empty the carb and make sure it didn’t bog when we hit the gas upon landing. When the bike hit the ground- the gas would bounce to the top of the carb and it would suck air- then gas...creating the bog. That’s about it. Hence the name Brrrrrrr-raaaaaaaaap

7/8" Renthal 7010 aluminum bars flex more than any 1-1/8" bar. Bar choice is personal. Choose what you like... And run with it. Back in '98, when we came out with the Twinwall... It was a huge educational process...even with the factory teams. Fat bars do not flex more than a 7/8 braced bar, but they do flex more than...

If you're using a braceless oversize bar and you want to go more rigid than tha...then a twinwall is what you want. You're asking for more feedback but you can get feedback from a 7/8 bar and feedback from a 1 and 1/8 bar... Just depends on what feedback you're looking for. If you want the most give- then you...

I believe that that first moto today was the best moto I've seen him race in recent memory. He wasn't looking behind him like he normally does and he REALLY kept his composure with the fastest active 450 racer (Dungey) in the world breathing down his back for about 15-20 minutes. Great ride. I hope we see more of "This"...

a 1 1/8" aluminum handlebar (braced or unbraced) will NEVER have the flex of a 7/8" aluminum handlebar. Don't think for a second that a braceless oversized bar has the flex of a 7/8" aluminum braced bar. That is not the case...not even close. If you want flex (or have bad wrists) use the Renthal 7/8" handlebar. If you want...

The difference between the Fatbar and Twinwall (from a rigidity) stanpoint is only a 6-7% difference (un-noticeable by most). TwinWalls are the best bars by a mile...Like Riesenburg said...replacing bars every 8 years vs. every 8 races (like the good old days)...makes them amazing. If you want to "feel" your motorcycle...7/8" Renthal aluminum bars are the way to go. If...

I just watched it in super slo mo. While in the whoops...he loses control. Just when he's going off the track....his left leg goes up and over the tuff block while the bike (handlebar) is coming down onto his leg. Something got hooked right there...because the bike then flipped (and his leg was connected to the handlebar at that point)...

Alius is nothing like No Fear. You haven't seen the gear in person, or worn it. What if the riders all liked how light it is, and the sponsors all loved that they will be getting more coverage than before? Apparently you have an axe to grind with No Fear...join the club. But the ALIUS brand is nothing like the...
