The stuff they Geico guys wore last week (green/white) was killer.

Where did they come from? All of a sudden they pop up and secure GEICO? Out of nowhere oh and jwr....where did these guys find from? It just seems very curious how they showed up with (to my knowledge) zero background and bam! They are all over the place. Moto is a very small niche market and risky especially when dropping the kind of coin they are first year out..... As far as JT they aren't the same owners as before and I believe owned somehow by rawlings the baseball glove co.

"zero background"

You do know who Jeff Surwell and Skip Norfolk are don't you...

They have plenty of background.

And I agree on the look of the gear. Clean and fresh.

Go and look at your moto dvd's and pick up 'The Great Outdoors' movies from about 07. Notice the 'Alias' in the corner?

They are linked to No fear, hence why you might have seen guys like Josh Grant still wearing No fear gloves at the start of the year..

They didn't just pop up. No fear always had close links to the Factory Connection team, so new face and new look for the team. (FOX was 10000000 times better)

Thanks for filling me in, I had no idea that no fear had essentially rebranded themselves which totally makes sense as to how they have such a strong presence out of the gate I feel this is a very smart move for no fear it refreshes there company their company image and their brand ...... No fear had a slight stigma to it not sure what it is but they sort of fell off over the years and even when they came out with new stuff it was hardly ever talked about ....glad they're still in the game

Not No Fear... This is a whole new gear brand. Sure there are some former ties, but this is entirely new. Stoked. They have some great stuff coming out. Can't wait.

The principals in AliasMX had already divested their interest in No Fear years ago, Well before No Fear's large retail presence took the economic hit that ultimately led to the company's bankruptcy/reorganization. As stated in several articles (Racer X etc..), after being away from it for a few years, they (Jeff Surwall and Skip Norfolk) had the desire to create a new line of gear. Alias is not a rebranding of No Fear. It is a new business.

The gear you see the Geico riders wearing is only one of the lines they will have available beginning in August.
(Personally, I like the red/white gear Barcia and Bogle were wearing this week).

I'm stoked for the August release. I will be first in line for sure.

Clean lines, good looking w/o being over the top, etc.

I predict Alias will be a big hit for sure.

All I think of when I see that stuff is Atari. The logo is way to close to the iconic atari A

I know one of the owners of the company (who was not mentioned) ... and, as far as I know, Skip Norfolk is not involved.

Exactly, it's not super gaudy like some of the stuff coming from Fox or THOR. That stuff looks like screenprinted vomit .

I just got the orange set last week. Bright orange set you always see the geico guys in.

Bto stocks it. Get some percentage off with "steve" in the coupon code box.
