So crazy to me that someone being successful and making good enough money to afford something like a Ferrari F12 is frowned upon or talked bad about. Roczen would show up to press conferences in his NSX, Barcia has had a few Lamborghini's, Tomac has his 991 GT3RS, etc. I wish these guys would show their outside of moto hobbies more often. In todays world, cars like these are often times investments.

95% of cars are depreciating assets, not investments. If you are buying a car as an investment, you buy the special ones (limited editions, extremely rare models etc.) and you don't drive them.

Haha, we could argue this one all day long so we shall agree to disagree. A Toyota Tundra is a depreciating vehicle asset, a now discontinued naturally aspirated V12 Ferrari is not always a depreciating asset, especially considering the way things are going with electric cars. It is not guaranteed, but neither is any investment. Although it is not common, yes, in today's world a handful of people do purchase these types of cars that will hold value, or even increase. Not all, but some indeed do.

True, I will give you that (and love exotic car talk) but in Ferrari world, you buy the Speciale's or the Pista's as the regular models are driven and don't hold as much value, hence depreciate. Lambo's you buy the Performante's or the SV's....

More rare and limited

You're both right. One of the last naturally-aspirated front engine Ferrari's is going to hold it's value, regardless if it's a limited edition or not. It won't hold as much, but it still will.

Like someone mentioned before, relatively speaking, the Lawrences went SUPER reasonable on these purchases considering their options.

I'm guessing there are a few guys whining about this on this thread taking home less than $100k but driving a $50-70k truck.

For FC yeah Jett was the throw in. When they folded and HRC wanted Jett, nobody wanted Hunter

Don't go there, made some good money on crypto just before COVID, had my eye on a beautiful used AP for 18k.   Just couldn't bring myself to do it though as that is an insane amount of money for a watch.    Now you can't buy one for under 40k!!!

Did buy a Rolex Hulk though at sensible money 😉 .  It's just not my dream AP?

Are we sure they bought those cars? Red Bull has leased/purchased cars for athletes in the past. Could be a sponsor present.

O’mara had two similar pictures taken for interviews and put in magazine’s. One picture was him sitting in front of his house with a customized 83 Toyota 4x4.

The other picture was him standing in front of his house with his raised 84 white Toyota 4x4, and his white 911 turbo.

Young guys making a lot of money buying what they want isn’t douchey, but putting on social media might be. I personally don’t see a problem with it, they’re young, and building a brand, have fun.

Yeah, a 2023 would be a least $500K more. Instead, they paid a third for what a new one would be.

What? A few post back person said they hold their value or increase…now they saved money buying used. I guess someone is full of 💩

Both are true, nobody is full of 💩, you just can't comprehend the conversation. Let the adults talk.

Wait what?

How can they be starving and poor when they bought 2 Ferraris?

Or...are they starving and poor BECAUSE they bought 2 Ferraris?

Your post lacks context.

I’d guess close to seven figures, i think they touch on estimates on his ESPN interview.
He probably made around $5,000,000 this year,

The Rolls Royce alone is around $400-500k.
