The fact that MotoConcepts has had their IG comments turned off for at least a year is hilarious. They can’t even allow for fan engagement through social media because their top guy is a dumbass, and the fact that they still have their comments off shows that they’re well aware of that.
Also, I’m pretty sure they never addressed Friese allegedly putting a bounty on Brayton at the starting gate, their other rider who used his connections with Honda to help the team with sponsors and whatnot, even down to helping out with designing graphics for the bikes. And whether or not the bounty bit is true, what isn’t disputable is the fact that he cleaned Brayton out and took them both out of contention for the title.
Who knew a team would be willing to grenade their own brand image for Vince Friese, of all riders, lol. Never gonna support these guys.

The bounty thing was very true and it’s absolutely unacceptable. Would love a moto media outlet to ask anyone on that team about it. Brayton was understandably pissed, so much in fact that he left the team shortly after that race. I guess for a small team, any publicity is good publicity but they’re losing any sort of credibility when they support this type of behavior.

You realize MotoConcepts aren’t letting him race US Supercross anymore, right? His contract is up after the last round and they aren’t resigning him.
Moto media tried.....Brayton talked about in detail on Pulp and they invited Mike or Tony too.....they wouldn't respond.
Brayton sounded like he was completely betrayed in that interview. Wtf is Genova even doing supporting Vince to this degree? Does Vince have some dirt on these guys? Really can only chalk it up to he is getting camera time but as a sponsor, you would think they would want a more positive look on the team.

That's a great question. My opinion is he is a cheap way for them to get a lot of camera time because he starts so well and can almost run the pace for a few laps. Vince did improve for a year or so and managed to not ride like an idiot, but as soon as he turned back to what he always was, they should have cut ties. The Brayton situation is Australia was completely unacceptable.
From an entertainment standpoint, Vince absolutely made that race. If he hadn’t been there, there is a zero percent chance that a bunch of second tier SX riders could have held my attention for the entire event. You can hate his riding all you want, but he is literally the only reason I will be watching the final race in the series just to see what he does next.
That's fine, but that's wrestling and not a world class series (which they say they are). Not to mention he should be disqualified or heavily penalized for the track cutting at a minimum.

I’m a new fan of the sport so can someone shed some light on why Friese is so hated when a guy with a nickname of Bam Bam who apparently has the same reputation as an aggressive rider doesn’t seem to receive near the attention or hate?

100% he should have been black flagged for cutting the track then slowing down the leaders. Still part of the drama that makes him the only thing interesting about the WSX series. Ken Roczen is the only thing world class about this entire series, and one guy blowing the doors off a bunch of also rans is boring. Look at the WSX threads today. Vince is literally the only thing anyone is talking about.
I hope other fans aren’t as immature as what you have displayed otherwise I won’t be a fan for long.
Vince is a great starter and not in the same league as Barcia. His take-outs happen when he is going backwards or as a retaliation attempt after just being passed. It’s never when moving forward in the pack or out of frustration of being held up.
Being slower, cross jumping and brake checking is the root of the riders frustrations with him, not just the take- outs. Dean even said himself last night it was his fault for leaving the door open when he got “Friesed”.
His speed and finishes haven’t earned him the respect of fellow competitors as he slows them up, tries to knock them down all the while going backwards in the order.

Indoor dirt bike racing is a venue to enjoy during the cold months. I love it. Friese’s antics add to the spectacle. Peick served some track justice that night and we all cheered. Until another racer sacks up with some payback Friese will continue to punk them all. It’s too bad Ando and Barcia aren’t there. They’re not scared
VF needs an old school visit in the pits..
I make a point of not buying anything from anyone who sponsors him. I know it won’t matter to his sponsors but it makes me feel better that none of them will ever get a penny from me while they support that a$$hat.
