People came after me when I commented on a Instagram post that no way he even top 10s the overall AM race and that he would get beat by a couple of the women. Keep in mind this is the AM race so Women/Old guys/teenagers/sportsman riders.
I think he did great and that's about where I expected him to finish but the people that don't understand GNCC saying he would win were annoying.
Justin Starling also raced the XC1 class too (got last but Im sure he knew that going in) 8 of the 14 XC1 guys have won a race this year.

Pretty odd to have any response on here expect that it's cool he's racing, and, whatever his past issues, he seems to be doing well, and that's cool as well.
I barely follow what he's up to these days but I didn't know he had a job in the industry but since he rode in the industry class, guess he does. Anybody know what job he has in the industry?
Axel Hodges raced the Industry class a few years ago, so it may not be necessary to work in the industry. I think it's more of an invite only class. Not sure

I’m not a hater, I think it was awesome he showed up and raced and I hope he does more in the future. However, did anyone else find that interview to be sad/depressing?
Yes, easy to tell the guy has been through some hard times and has that typical attitude/personality of someone that has had substance abuse issues. Rad he showed up and rode, I have respect for anyone that can ride a motorcycle at that level.

I do have a question and not asking to be a dick. Does JLaw have a job or did he make enough in his short career that's he's essentially set? I still see him rocking the ARMA branding but I don't see him listed on their website in any capacity. Just curious what he might be doing to get along.
Jason has done enough in torching his MX career to warrant people being "judgy creeps". Yes, he was an amazing talent...but was pretty much an amazing dickhead too. He was paid a lot of money by sponsors and teams, and screwed them all. I'm glad he's (presumably) clean/sober now and showing off his bike riding skills at 35, but IMO he'll never be the hero some here make him out to be.
It's his life, living it the way he sees fit. Maybe he didn't GAF about what you and the creeps see as important. He has enough of an impact that when Jason comes up in threads, the judges come out of the wood work to say what they think he should have done. Kinda pathetic, but that is what anonymity brings.
So...it's not important to represent your sponsors and the team that pays you by not behaving like a total idiot?

They knew what he was like. Not like he was a robot, then short circuited into what he was. He brought exposure to his sponsors... apparently you have never heard the saying " any publicity is good publicity"... i highly doubt what JLaw did was detrimental to his sponsors, not like he drove a skool bus full of special ed kids into a bridge abutment. So many perfect people here, really is impressive.
Looks like he had fun, enjoyed his time and had good take aways.
