All I heard is that Hunter will make his debut on the 450 at Paris.

Does anyone know when the race is and if anyone else is confirmed?

Thx

Wait……Cooper Webb?  With Star support?  Or someone else?  I mean….if Star supports Paris but not MXoN then that’s some messed up shit imo.  …and before the “it’s their money they can do what they want” crowd chimes in….don’t…just don’t.  Anyway…funny how Coop can make Paris but Deegan can’t be bothered with MXdN….

The riders are payed a pretty hefty amount just to show up. They ride bikes that are already there they just bring over suspension and bars. Completely different than MXdN. Costs star practically no money.

Forgive me ol fruit, I just asked the same question. I doubt Barcia will be ready, he needs the time to heal up 100%

Shimoda will line up against Vialle.

If Barcia's not healed, Plessinger will probably be there.

Are they on stock engines/ECUs? I figured they'd bring an ECU at least as it's easy to pack, but maybe they don't really care that much

I’ll be interested to see how much they really bring over…but the fact that Coop, who is more particular about his bike than even Ferrandis, can make something good enough to ride Paris but not MXdN.  He wouldn’t do it if he doesn’t think he can win on it.  Willing to bet the bike says Star and the mechanic is his Star mechanic.  I know what you will say already….but it’s just a little sad that making it work for personal gain is more important than national pride and the kick ass race of the year….but of course…they can choose….and we the fans can be disappointed in some of those choices.

Start money does strange things to riders huh.

I don’t think you understand how the whole Paris  sx deal works. Which is fine. His bike will 100% look like a star bike they bring graphics as well. The start money for some of the bigger names is more than enough to not care about your result at all. I’m sure he’ll try but Paris isn’t MXdN where you need to be all out all weekend and on top form. You’re comparing a one off sx where riders are payed to show up, to the Olympics of motocross.

Yea…and I am just bitching about wanting riders and teams to care more.  For ONE huge race of the year maybe rich teen to 20 year olds don’t worry so much about the money.  To actually give without expecting big return financially…..1 race….the whole year….to say thanks and show a little gratitude to their ultimate employer…the fans.   Okay…rant over.

Paris SX going to have 102,000 spectators or whatever it is? Where's the start money come from? Maybe they should promote mxon if that's all it takes to get people to show up? Star said sitting out mxon wasn't about money.....

I'm not subscribed to the yearly pass, so I don't know. It could be.

Check if it's listed anywhere after you sign in.

Wow, I'm not a huge Barcia fan but that was a racing incident, not a take out move. The retaliation was bogus, and then he runs away like a scared girl.
