One thing that should be good for Chase is I dont see roger letting him keep making the exact same mistake over n over 100 times and not fixing it. It seemed like honda was kind of over it because he was leaving and Jett was winning everything, but if that same problem persists at ktm theyre going to do whatever they can to straighten him out. This would be really good for Chase because if he can clean up the mistakes hes gonna be a title threat again.

I hope Sexton gets his mojo back and wins some races on the KTM. isn't this the 3rd season on the "New" bike? they should be able to get it dialed for Chase.

He won't tuck the front as much, mark my words.

I can tell you this much. He likes the bike better so far.

From the video I saw, Chase looked substantially slower on the KTM compared to his HRC 450, which might be a good thing to keep him from crashing so much on the faster Honda.

I think he comes out swinging at A1. Last time there was major movement between 450 factory guys, everyone benefited from their change of scenery, I think this plays out the same

Judging by the press release photo he looks comfortable but front end a little soft.

He's coming off from arguably the best (neutral) bike & team of 2023 sweeping all titles and going to a team & bike that have been struggling with set up and results with their new model...

He's in the top 3 of best 450 users (along with Jett and Kenny. I didn't say rider, I said user) so it will help him but the team and Chase will have to go to work and start from the ground up if they want to get close to the performance of a Factory Honda. Whatever KTM tried in 2023 with Aaron (low in the back) and Coop (front end low and rear end high) never seemed to work or be close to the Honda package.

I don't buy the "he's feeling already better than with the Honda" BS, the first week on the bike... Remember when Webb was 3 seconds faster with a stock 450 Yamaha and ended up having the worst season of his career or McGrath liking the 250 KTM and the Dunlops better than his YZ250 with Bridgestones?

I really hope Chase and KTM will figure it out and come out in A1 swinging as well as Eli, Kenny, Webb etc... The more performing factory riders/race winners, the "meilleur" (the real French word) for all of us keyboard warriors.

What if you're wrong ?

For those of you who don't know, Hunter is just as damn good as Jett on a 450.

Throwing in Hunter with the top guy but not including Roczen? Garauntee Kenny beats Hunter

"Roger letting him"? Roger is 80 years old, it probably takes all his focus and concentration to control his bowels, let alone his riders. Chase is going to have a shitty season, that team can not figure out that bike. It seems there is a war between team management and the riders as to what direction they should go with the bike.

I reckon he'll win some races, and I want him to, but winning a championship if Tomac and Jett are feeling it is gonna be tough. I really hope he/KTM figure the bike out and that isn't the deciding factor.

That's assuming Tomac is back to peak Tomac quality and Jett makes it through in one piece (I am hoping for both of those things, by the way).

I know this is a Sexton thread but either way between Tomac, Sexton and Lawrence Jr battling it out and then Barcia, Kenny and Webb spicing it up too it will be awesome. If Anderson, AP and Craig are back on form (250/Star form for Craig I guess) it should be fun to watch. What's the score with Mookie these days?

Trying to correlate Rogers's bowels, with a shitty season by Chase.

🤣

Personally, I don't think he'll win an SX race next year.

I think (hope) we see some serious battles between Jett and Kenny, with Eli nipping at their heels.

Though I think Jett and Kenny will be much more consistent.

Roger could probably still smoke your ass! If you’ve ever been around him, you would see he is not your typical older man.

I think Chase will do good on the KTM. Hopefully he can keep his rear end underneath him and have more focus towards his race results.

Bro...you are so wrong.  Don't you know that every race Chase ever wins on the KTM will be solely due to Roger and his alien level management skills?

That’s some weak shit! Talking like that about a guy who’s been more successful in every aspect of this sport than your silly, disrespectful ass could ever imagine being…and is still doing it at 80! You’ll be lucky if you make it that far.

Oh boy, you think? How's his teams doing? That is what he is paid to do. Is it fair to say his 450 teams(all three) are third best in this country, behind Honda and Star? His 250 teams(all three) maybe fourth best behind Star, Honda, ProCircuit? And of course his desNations teams, of which one factory team in this country won't even allow their riders on the team with Roger as manager. You would think if the USA team winning was so important to him, he would resign and let someone else manage all teams were comfortable with. And yes, I've met him, years ago. I thought "Holy shit he's old." then.

Look I didn't apply for his job, nor deny his social security check. I can't help but agree with you though, at eighty years old he's probably forgetting huge amounts of information.

All of Roger's apologists realize Adolph Hitler was in power when Roger was alive right? There was no nuclear power when he was born. The man is of a different era.
