I have a special place in my heart for Suzuki's, because my first dirtbike was a 1974 TM125 and I loved those 1970 and 80's works bikes, but more than any other manufacturer they've had some real turds in the looks department over the years, but when they get it right they're sharp.  If they came out with something that looked like this with an Electric start, I'd say take my Money, bonus points if it was a 250 2-stroke.

Design and taste are a very personal thing and One could say it’s not pretty but still better than any Kawasaki ever built to date but just my opinion.

Aussies may remember this championship winning bike from 40 years ago. Classic look imo:

The 1990 RM's were the nest looking bikes of all time IMO.  Absolutely perfect with yellow plastic, blue seat, and simple graphics.  The blue was slightly brighter than the dark blue of 89.  They paired so well with the clean yellow/blue Answer, MS Racing, High Point, Oneal and Fox gear of the day.

Agree on the 89-90 Zooks all time simple looks and agree on the not as fast compared to the 93 CR250.👍

They already missed that opportunity.  The TM400 was released in 1971.  And doctors everywhere cheered!

But they do have an opportunity to release a 15th anniversary version of the same rehashed RMZ450 coming soon...

You just caused me to have nightmares tonight.  I had a 72 or 73 TM250.  At least a TM400 would run clean after it through you over the bars starting it.  I don’t recall anybody getting a TM250 to run clean.  One ugly smoke in pogo stick of a racing scooter.

Go easy on the TM250. I had a 73 and once I got rid of the auto oil and just ran premix it ran fine. I won a lot of trophies on that bike.

Suzuki and Hondas have always been very twitchy but great turning bikes.

I have only owned 1 a 1988 RM250 and that motor was very deceiving because it felt slow with a very smooth electric delivery the 1st time I rode it. Raced it in the 30+ class that weekend and found it was just as fast accelerating next to CR500’s to the 1st turn. I actually loved that bike!

Love the original FF's, especially the 125 with the single radiator; they looked like production works bikes.

I have 2 92”s… one with about 10hrs on it since new. The other is a race bike I built, they are not slow, they have great throttle response and a quick burst of power, not much top end over rev stock. Properly jetted with a PC pipe &silencer gains some overrev… super quick handling…. Think Supercross bike… outdoors type tracks, the are a handful….carry on….IMG 3111 0.jpeg?VersionId=TNa

The one without a crossbar pad - is that the '81 air-cooled FF RM250?

That rascal looked like it arrived with bad intentions... and might bite you if you got too close.

You nailed it Motoman, that and the 1974 TM 125 were the best looking Suzuki MX bikes ever ! Neither one was particularly fast, but that wasn’t the question.

This first RM came out in 75, so late in 24 we could see a 50th anniversary RMZ as a 2025.RM125 1

1991 and 1992 where the coolest in my opinion,  but these 2 are cool also.

So far I think the Yamaha and Kawasaki 50th anniversary bikes are both awesome.

Which year would you prefer to be used for their anniversary edition?

They need to bring back the fender flap!!! Any reason why back then they just didnt think to extend the front fender or was it an aftermarket part?
