As someone who follows MotoGP religiously, I cant say that I didnt see this coming. Marq has been unhappy for years at honda, Honda's R-D has not kept pace with the Europeans (neither has Yamaha). After Rossi left Ducati, Ducati pulled all the satellite and customer teams together to share data and development, this is what has helped them develop the best bikes on the grid. Honda and Yamaha were very reluctant to share data with their satellite teams, as a result had fewer bikes to test and develop with.
He is done,wont win again
If he gets smoked at Sachsenring I'll start to believe you.
I think Marc will be competitive and get a couple wins next year. But I don’t think we will see him get another championship. Especially with 7 other Ducati’s on the grid. Add Ktm and Aprilia too.

I have been pleasantly surprised by the Aprilia. They've come along way since the weird ol open class they used to be in.
Please explain your reasoning, do you think he doesn't have the talent anymore?
Do you think the other riders have just gotten better?
Do you think even on equal equipment he cant win?
Or you just don't like him?
Exactly. Marc has so much damn money in the bank that if he didn’t think he could win, he would just retire.
I think with Marc, It is a battle mentally. He has to prove to himself that he can still win before he walks/or doesn't away. I know he thinks he is every bit as good as Pecco.
If you’re a fan of MotoGP, check out this website. It is the brotocross.com of MotoGP.

He is. By a very large margin.
Didn't Honda pretty much build their bike to suit his riding style and desires? To the point that no one else could ride it, including his brother? So now his brother is doing better on the Duc, and MM is supposed to beat him and everyone else with a riding style suited to the Honda? Same thing happened with Lorenzo and Rossi when they switched. No doubt the Japanese have screwed the pooch, but it'll be a steep learning curve to get him toward the front of the grid. Also, all the young guns know they're just as fast or faster, and they're not gonna take any of his crap. Any number of guys would be more than happy to punt him if he tries anything sketchy, which he will.
Do you know if there is a MotoGP version of vitalMX, with a public foroum?
how can you say that? look how far he finishes ahead of the other Hondas. In japan recently it was a wet race - this is considered a great leveller of the field as the rain negates a lot of negative trait of some of the slower bikes. Marc ended up getting third in the race and very nearly took second - he was the fastest guy on the track at the end until race officials decided to end the race early.
I and many many others still reckon Marc has it. Its just the Honda has been left behind in the development ranks because Honda once laughed at aerodynamic developments on road bikes. Now look where that has taken them
Marquez suffered couple times bad double vision problems after crashes where he hit his head and had to sit out many races. If this move keep him off ground it will be win for him. Lately Honda been more competive as he got podium last weekend but still thinks they will be behind next season.
To me Yamaha is even worst shape Quartararo went from champion to riding behind all Euro bikes and now Hondas as well. They are even deeper hole and will continue to use their inline motor that will keep them back even other areas are improved in future.

Or any track that turns left (Austin)
Who the f.. cares about marc marquez on vital MX ? Nobody thx goodbye
So you posted on page 2 of a thread that nobody cares about, to say who the F@@2 cares?
You can't make this stuff up...lol
Pit Row
Plenty, Thank you - Drive Through
the irony of posting that you dont care
Honda did develop the bike towards Marcs extreme style - however they dropped the ball regarding developing it to be as competitive as the competition. Ducati have made a aerodynamically suited bike that has a great top end (better than the Honda) and is more versatile across a broad range of riding styles. There is currently 4 different riders from 4 different ducati teams that have won races. Imagine that in the mx world - thats like saying Muc off/ Star yamaha/ etc etc could all win in the same year. But anyway honda have dropped the ball - their ECU is apparently unruly and cant seem to tame the aggressive engine braking.
I like him. is just that his time has passed by,its been tears since his last championship, and his injuries
has taken a toll on him
well there is a non-moto section of this forum you could post this non moto topic in … just sayin! 🤷♂️
Kind of Moto-Related since he rides moto.
Don't all the teams run spec ECUs?
and one hell of a dirtrack rider too. One reason he dominates left hand turning tracks on the motogp calender
Never understood how so many moto people could be into football, baseball, basketball, nascar and not motogp. 6 months of moto training and Marquez could probably qualify for a national.
Marc would be a threat at an AMA flat track round tomorrow. I think he’d easily qualify for a national. Jake Gagne did at Utah.
I can already picture him following the top Ducati riders and learning the limits of the bike. A year old Ducati is a weapon, just ask #23. These days a year old Ducati is a well developed race bike that it’s probably better at the first few races than a 24 model. I think he will be a multiple race winner and in the championship hunt.
Moto People in the States***
One of the coolest thing about Spain, is a lot of them train with each other riders as they both are coming up. Like, 125 & CEV Repsol dudes would train with each other, 250 / Moto3 people, etc. It's pretty epic! & speaks volumes to the development of the MX side over there (as of late).
A random day at Rocco's Ranch you never know who you are going to run into haha
