Dungey gave Stewart all he could handle...James made the pass, and I dont think anyone was expecting Dungey to not only catch James but almost try and make a pass back of his own.

A tiny bobble at the end..but a win is a win.

I can't believe this str8 up crap has already started.. You'd think that fans the caliber that we have on here would be above that str8 up crap.. If u get to the checkered 1st you won str8 up..Anyone that says anything else is a total imbecile.

looked to me like Stewart had an uncomfortable setup, like he said after the race.. all the while he was on Dungey's pace waiting for him to tighten up or make a mistake. Then he went and did his thing. Stewart and Dungey battling for the lead is what I expected...


what I didnt expect.. Reed being out after a lap, and RV a little bit off the pace.

Great start to the season though.

Dungey looked good, he was as fast in the whoops as James after the first turn rythm section. Weird track also, the section leadind into them was only one option as was most of the track. Damn those bikes look good up close also.

The track sucked. Too many switch backs which make it one lined and difficult to pass.

Track did suck to watch live, sat near the double whoop section. Pretty lame.

Narrow start swtichback thing and one line racing all night. They could've done better.

How many bikes finished the 450 main, 11? My friends and I were joking how the track looked empty.

James almost ate shit pushing too hard then blamed set up so he could tell himself everything is alright and that number 5 guy didn't almost wax his ass on his first full season freshman tour. Problem iss theres a lot of guys out there that believe they have what it takes to beat Dungey and very few that think they can beat Stewart...hmm

James Stewart STRAIGHT UP WON..........period.

Gave Dungey the lead, a 4 second lead at that and still came back to win in the closing laps. WOW!

James didn't have the right set-up? Please. He's been doing nothing but training, practicing, and dialing that bike in.

He's in the best shape of his life, and he looked and rode great, but he's gonna have to race for it this year.

And Ryan was two seconds back and caught Stewart in less than a full lap. Just sayin.
Also, Dungey was 3 thousandths off James in practice not 4 hundredths. Not that it matters.

Stewart is awesome and he got it done tonight but let's not fool ourselves into thinking what happened last night was under HIS complete control. If Ryan wouldn't have slowed down (doesn't matter why he slowed) I don't think James would have won. We will never know. Either way he had to work for it. This is a good thing guys. Let's hope there are a few more bikes up front next week. I don't know about you guys but I would love to see this turn into a five or six man fight. The more guys fighting for it the better. Do any of you remember what it was like when we didn't know who was going to win every week? Wasn't it great?
