Surprised they didn’t pull the plug earlier when he landed on his head.  That could’ve been so much worse.  
Bummer to not get to see him and Deegan go at it tonight, but probably for the best

Loved when he said that he had to be good for MxDn during the broadcast. Great to see that des nations means a lot for some riders at least.

He seemed to imply he's having disc issues in the interview during the broadcast. If that's the case, it's not going to get better any time soon. Hopefully just muscle strain but he was not getting around well. 

This is pretty much what ended Ty's older brother Jake Masterpool's pro career. Hopefully it isn't serious enough to require surgery. I'm not positive, but when they said, "aggravated" his back, I think they should have said, "reaggravated", as Hunter's had a back issue before this. Whatever the case, it was serious enough that the decision was made not to race. 

Didn't ZO16 retire shortly after an injury of this sort?
