They even held a NASCAR Clash race there one time! Grinning

Yep, should be damn good actually. All the times they raced here in the past, the track never went onto the actual field, it was all built on the perimeter of the grass. First time it will use the whole floor. Can't wait!

It looks like the turned the rough section after the sand section into SX whoops.

Yeah true. Reminds me of the whoops/bumps before the finish at Washougal. Mostly likely hop through them, they do look big.

Actually the place has gone through a couple renovations and technically back in 93 the floor/field space shrank and got lowered quite a bit. There used to be space for an olympic sized track around the football field. Coliseum Joins Modern Age : Renovation: Among improvements are a lowered field and improved visibility. - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com)

Split sand lane after the down hill looks cool. Hopefully it works out as well as the one in Rd. 1.

I was at the '98 round when Tortelli won (poor Henry!). It was great.

The guy beside me couldn't understand why #70 was James Eickel and not Ricky Carmichael so there's one in the plus column for the move to permanent numbers.
