It's a shame they didn't have enough dirt to fulfil the planned layout. Conditions look like what I hoped for SMX, though

track is gonna be insanely one lined and boring to watch.

Loving the 2 day format at these. So much content to absorb throughout the day to build up excitement for the race!

Did they accidentally turn up to a round of the flat track series?

Seriously. Its way too flat.

Be careful dude...you don't need to "green out" in public.  If you do find yourself in that position...just say to yerself..."I'm not dying...I'm just high".

Crossing my fingers that there's some adjustments before they drop the gate for quali tomorrow. Theres so much potential here and way too much dead space in between the rythyms.. we will see. 

Blows my mind that after the summer Marchbanks had in the 450s and his speed in these SMX rounds that he wants to race a privateer effort 250 in SX next year again. 

I was worried about the lack of activity at the speedway leading up to this and I guess my concern had some reason...doesn't help when they only started hauling dirt in Tuesday afternoon. Oh well, hopefully they'll produce some good racing regardless

I think the track looks awesome and it's again something completely different than what we've seen before. Plus I think for the three round Supercross/Motocross series, each box has been ticked:

Rd. 1 - Hybrid track with real SX sections and MX prep on the fast/open sections
Rd. 2 - Mainly motocross design with a couple SX elements
Rd. 3 - Mainly SX design with a couple MX elements

I think if they stick with that type of formula it could be great, even if this first attempt isn't perfect from the jump. This track is extremely fast and is going to get really rough so it's going to award fitness. Motocross doesn't have rhythm sections yet passes are still made. We saw it at the last round, it takes creativity and grit to pass someone that's going the same speed as you but it's not impossible and when that happens, it's very entertaining. I think it's actually really cool that round 1 required SX suspension and now round 2 you're gonna want MX suspension. Good to mix it up and challenge these guys while keeping safety in mind.

Strange as it sounds, I could see KR winning in Chicago.

I find it amazing you guys can watch a couple vids of pros rolling around a track and instantly know how well it will race

Weege said the track builders lost a day of build time due to storms earlier in the week in this week's Weege Show which meant they couldn't build a lot of the obstacles they had planned.
 

Him and Mumford are sitting out the rest of the series. 

More so than the average race, the holeshot at this round is gonna weigh more heavily in the final outcome of this race.
