Unsure why anyone cares if the Americans go or not. They don't make the event.

Where did you hear team USA won't be there? I must have missed that announcement.

It's not because a team isn't announced yet to the public, that they haven't submitted a team at all.

You might be right, they may have submitted the entry form to the FIM, which requires the rider details, signatures and insurance cover, or the FIM may allow them to submit a late entry.

Paul p on the pulp segment mention some inkling that des nations might be here (U.S.)in 2024? Steve was saying he heard 2025.

Any idea where next years will be at? Either in the u.s. or abroad? If its 2025 what american track?  Red bud again? Dont get me wrong i love red bud (ive been to both des nations and 4 natl over the years) but im hoping for a different track.

Im also onboard with the idea if we dont go when abroad we shouldnt get to host them here..imho that is.

I would guess that AMA entered a team on time with 3 provisional names and take advantage of the rule that says you can replace any riders up to the Friday before the race.

It's just a guess on my part, but I suspect they entered Plessinger for MX1 - Hampshire for Open and Vohland for MX2.  That was the team that was committed until Vohland was forced to decline by his new team.

But the alternate rules would still apply and they could change a rider right up to the day before the race.

Another rumor is that Husky has both a 450 and a 250 ready to go for Hampshire...

My question is "if" they have it sorted out, let's assume the Craig on a 450 rumor is true.  Are we just waiting to announce at the next SMX race so they have the media present like was originally intended weeks ago??  That "feels" like what's going on...

If Romain Febvre, Maxime Renaux and Tom Vialle all got injured between now and the MXDN... France would be able to pick 3 new riders, they wouldn't just DNS

This entry by Sep 5th is a formality, but it isn't set it stone, and really it doesn't actually matter

Yes, flag was on Jett and Hunter's bikes for Red Bud.

A Japanese company with Australian riders displaying American pride!

Jesus Christ bud.....  I apologize you don't have the reading comprehension to understand what I was saying....

I'll say it one more time, try reading slowly...maybe even read it twice..... MOST THE FOOLS MOUTHING OFF ABOUT AMERICAN PRIDE IN THIS THREAD ARE NOT AMERICAN.

It doesn't have a motherfucking thing to do with what stickers are on any bike.

Do you understand that now?  I'm not sure how much more clear I can be so if you don't, well...as they say..... you can't fix stupid.

Eh?

No. I'm saying they could have entered Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart and Ryan Villopoto on September 5th and they could still line up with Plessinger, Hampshire and... Errr .... a 3rd rider

Ok sorry I was mistaken, I thought "they wouldn't just DNS" was in reference to team USA.

I see what you are saying and completely agree.

I was really hoping for Zacho I think he is a better option than CC.  Still props to CC for stepping up at least we are sending a team.

If it is RJ, AP, and CC I am happy we are going but CC is like a few weeks into riding with a bum elbow. Why did Deegan not want to go... I mean he was the one using the American thing to his advantage a few months ago.
