God I hope they are done making the same game 7 times in a row. With the same 2017 gear choices, 1 style of number font, same track editor, same sounds, same physics....need I go on?
I've had MX SIM since 2009. Paid $30 for it. Got all my bike skins, gear, tracks, game updates, all of it is FREE. Unless you want someone to make something custom for you. $30 for a game that's lasted me 14 years and transferred through 3 different busted PC's. Best investment for MX gaming. Sound isn't perfect, but there are some mods out there to download.

Milestone is not making it, they're out and did not scanned any of the riders this past season.
As far as if FELD is hooking up with some other developers to do a full game again, i do believe Rainbow is picking up SX for next year like they did back in 2017, MvA also posted something about big news coming down the line so we'll see.

No more SX games from Milestone. At least in the near future. I’d imagine someone will pick it up especially with the SMX rounds.
Kellen Brauer mentioned something about this on PulpMX couple of weeks ago.

Damn, I really love the Milestone games. I have days worth of time wrapped up in the MXGP and Supercross games. Really bummed out about this. My wife will be happy.

The game code was lost or destroyed. Developers can’t build an identical game based on the game itself. They need IP, game files, code, etc..
It’s just mind blowing how far off they are with physics and speed being that roncada is one of the developers. They know how dirt bikes work and ride yet it’s soooo far away from what it should be
I was hoping since they basically joined SX & MX seasons together finally that they would make a game with replica tracks for both but looks like that's out the window.
Selfishly I want someone to just remake MCM2, still my all-time favorite. Creating tracks was so much more detailed and fun, endless options customizing bike/rider skins. Yeah the physics were a bit silly being able to jump whole sections but with a properly made track it preventing all that and was very realistic.

Hopefully someone gets it right. Im playing mxgp 21’ in 1st person pulling tear offs. Best I could find to get my fix for now. If I could just switch color ways I would be happy 😂 something so simple 🙄

I saw they were rebooting Baja: Edge Of Control? 2025 was the goal for launch? Hopefully this is true. Next to MX vs ATV and Dirt 2, that was one of the best offroad games ever imo.

No one is saying they need the exact code from Reflex but rather they should be able to match the fun factor and physics of a game that was made from scratch 15 years ago, where the controller and bike movements felt natural and fun. Reflex/Alive were the last arcade style MX games where the controls felt normal. It’s not meant to be literal but rather the last arcade MX game that did it right. It’s been done before, it can be done again. Milestone and Rainbow kept updating visuals and DLC vs fixing the core component that everyone had an issue with. Hopefully the new company picking up the rights are more open to feedback and don’t just copy + paste everything year after year.

This game needs a major reboot. Last 3 have been terrible. Also its been copy/paste since the 2nd game. Gear changes every year, yet somehow the gear in the game doesn't change over the course of a 7 year period. The game is always a year behind in content of the game, never upcoming tracks for that season or updated riders. They need better people working on this stuff and its truly simple things to fix.
yes fresh gear and rider team updates is an easy fix that needs addressing . For everyone that harps on about reflex being better than a current milestone game that is complete bullshit. Games like reflex are much simpler in terms of controller input which makes them "feel" better to simpletons who just want to pick up the controller and go. For players who spend more than 5 mins playing these modern milestone games are leaps and bounds above anything that has come before it. You just have to not be an ape and play it for a bit longer

Milestone games have had little to no evolution since Supercross 2.
IMO, same game, different number in the title.
Also, they weren't being scanned during media day. They were being photographed and filmed for all the 2024 season promos they use during the broadcast.
I though i heard in CC28 vlog they have a new Supercross game coming out. But, like Mav said, it has been the same game with a. little polishing every year. Personally, it looks good, plays horrible. MX bikes all day
