I have not seen it, but it seems to be getting good reviews.
The following is unrelated.
Quick questions that you might or might not know the answer to. Is Paramount Plus not meeting expectations?
I'm asking because I used to watch SEAL Team on CBS up here, and then they decided to take it off the air in favor of streaming it on Paramount Plus. I've seen the first four seasons, and last week I read an article that said the show will be coming back on TV (CBS) with season five.
I know that seasons five and six on Paramount Plus went from a PG rating to PG14, so I'm sure they'll edit the swearing-out, but do you know why it's coming back on TV?
There's a season seven, so I'm guessing it will return to a PG rating.
The same article mentioned that Yellowstone will make its TV debut with season one (Also on CBS).
Quick questions that you might or might not know the answer to. Is Paramount Plus not meeting expectations? Most of the streamers claim to be losing money, especially now that the WGA and Sag are striking, but nobody would actually know as they do not release streaming numbers. In the near future I would expect them to start bundling services with other streamers, ala cable tv.

Paramount/CBS still see's great revenue from terrestrial tv, but it's a dying landscape because you can produce a much more authentic show without FCC interference.
There's a season seven, so I'm guessing it will return to a PG rating. Anything over the air will remain a pg rating because of the FCC.
The same article mentioned that Yellowstone will make its TV debut with season one (Also on CBS). I'm helping out the editing for this now that we delivered the last episode of "Lioness", but it's mostly getting Beth to not be so Beth, Taylor is picky on how we make it work, otherwise it's pretty easy to get it in a place for over the air distribution. The difficult part is because of the strike we have to use existing dialogue as the actors are not allowed to work on anything guild related.
I am starting "Land Man" with Billy Bob Thornton as soon as the strike is over, then overlapping with season two of "Lioness". I am actually stoked to work on a Billy Bob show.
We have Lioness in our to watch next list and looking forward to it. As much as we watch all these streaming shows and just recently canceled our cable TV. Honestly I wasn't sure we had Paramount on streaming until something we recently watched under our Prime account. We watch about everything so it just wasn't noticed as I lackadaisicaly scan Amazon Prime, Netflix, Peacock, Hulu etc. I'm glad we do though.
You won't be disappointed, it's really a pretty damn good show.

Thanks.
I don't know much about Land Man. I know that it's about the oil industry/oil rigs in Texas, but I don't know in which era it is set.
Do you know if it's set in modern day or back when oil was first discovered?
Basically modern day times with a nod to history as far as I can say, NDA's and all. I get to work with Ali Larter again, whom I haven't worked with since "Varsity Blues". I did a show with her husband in 2019 and got to catch up with her at the wrap party. I love her so much.
I just wish the studios would negotiate in good faith with the WGA/SAG and end this strike. If it goes into October and isn't figured out by then there probably won't be anything being made until the new year, so it's going to be a boring spring/summer with no new episodes of anything but shitty reality shows.
the wife and i started GLOW the other day, kinda funny but man Alison Brie has a crazy ability to be one of the sexiest women on screen one second and a solid 4 the next. can't decide if i like the show or not but she's got a great set.
am about mid-way through Painkillers and holy shit... so much of it takes me back to late early-mid 00's and my best friend's behavior. i knew he was on something but didn't know what. terrible what kind of an effect Oxy had on the nation for so long.
We watched the 6 episode series called The Chosen. I highly suggest not wasting your time on that one.
Well, I was finally able to get through all 6 seasons, but only because of the free time after the wife’s surgery! They were definitely worth it, now on to the ‘new season’.
As a huge Justified fan, prepare to be disappointed. There is a sharp drop in quality with the new season.
I have been watching, good series.
Episode 7 dropped Sunday, and the last one of season 1 is this Sunday, you won't be disappointed.
108 Avid timeline...
Lioness is excellent. We are definitely enjoying it and looking forward to more from you and your crew.
In 30 years of doing this for work, it's the most proud I have ever been of something in my life. It has its moments where it gets a little funky, but I'm but beyond happy with it.
Only 3 episodes in and great start, will watch the rest tomorrow. Hope this is more than a 1 series show.
We are finally watching Sons of Anarchy and its really good. Always been on the list.
Haha, man, that’s like me discovering The Office a couple of years ago. I’m kinda envious because you get to start fresh at the beginning on a classic.
Pit Row
Watched the last episode tonight. Awesome, that was a great series.
I'm still stringing out Better Call Saul. I just don't want it to end for me. Watch another episode every month or two. Last one was S6 E3 (I think). Nacho finally said see ya. Every episode is epicness.
Completely agree. Been through it twice now. So well done.
Discovering late is better, dont have to wait a week to watch it. Kill an entire season in one night, sure why not
Just watched the final episode of Special Ops: Lioness and it was excellent. Really enjoyed the series and looking forward to more seasons.
The Bikeriders. In theaters December 1st.
From writer-director Jeff Nichols (“Loving,” “Midnight Special,” “Mud”), 20th Century Studios and New Regency, “The Bikeriders” is a furious drama following the rise of a fictional 1960s Midwestern motorcycle club through the lives of its members, starring Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve,” “The Last Duel”), Austin Butler (“Elvis”) and Tom Hardy (“Mad Max: Fury Road,” “The Revenant”).
been binge watching SUITS, i'm enjoying it. i know it's older but never heard about it until about a week ago on Netflix.
first season been having a hard-on for the Rachel chick, turns out it's Megan the Duchess... man she was hot as hell back in the day. she still is, but she was then too
Agreed, we just finished last episode last night.
Really well done avidchimp!
Me too. Excellent in all departments. How did I miss this?
I really got into Tulsa King...is it coming back?
Yes, as soon as the strike is over S2 will start shooting.
See that fellas...I have a connection in the industry.
