Drove 6 hours round trip for this 2007 CR125, about 98% original minus the rear sprocket and chain. The owner didn’t care to give it a bath before we met. Under $3g’s so I’ll take it, just sold my 2007 CR125 3 days ago for $3600 and needed another. Has the manual, the assembly checklist, title and spare spark plug.
Cleaned up fairly decent, still have some work to go on it

I just mean Honda would have to know you would rather spend $3k on a used CR over using that money as payment towards a new Honda crf. I hear your wallet loud and clear.
Nice find! Love those Honda 2 strokes. Had an ‘06 CR 250 and have regretted selling that thing many times. Enjoy!

The definition and standards have definitely changed over time or based on convenience of who is in the thread. This is no different than someone who says I support 2 strokes then buys a long out of production 2 stroke when in reality that makes them a fan. Support and speaking with a wallet is meant for new 2 strokes instead of 4 strokes. Let the hate flow from the clueless posters that change standards as they go. Nice 125 all the same.

My question stands. Somebody please write a concise quote of what the wallet said, and to whom.

Wallet: "They don't make them any longer but you can relive Honda's glory days and buy an old one and restore it."

Honda exec: "Someone said there were a bunch of mint 1989 CR125s at a race in the UK. Maybe we should start selling them again."

It was meant to send a message to the factories through the use of your wallet, (spending/buying) that people still wanted to purchase new 2 strokes. However, recycling/buying used still can be considered “speaking with your wallet” because said buyer chose to buy a used 2 stroke over a new 4 stroke which in turn sends the same message. People still want 2 strokes. Pretty simple and shame on your for killing the vibe of the excitement of the OP. Split hairs if you will, but it’s dirt bikes and a message board for crying out loud.

Whoa nice find. Still a competitive bike. That Kentucky kid on a 06 that got a 12th at LL. Was pitted next to my pal at The Baja Brawl . The kid & the cr125 r rippers. This weekend at the Doublin gap pro am in Pa. There’s a 4k purse for the 125 class, 40+ 125 class also I think. Baja Brawl had a 1k purse 125 race.
