Turn14 is a great company to buy from. They're one of the biggest WD's in the automotive aftermarket.

I knew something was up with Tucker. My kid is sponsored by one of the companies they own and everyone we have dealt with in that company is now gone.

Don't know if it's good or not, time will tell.

Good. I interacted with them in a previous position and always thought they were professional and very thorough. Will be interesting to see how this morphs/ grows in the future.

I think it could be a good thing.  I do not have an account with them. Last time I talked to a rep was  when they were still tucker rocky and just before they went bankrupt.   They have lost a few brands over the past year . They have been shifting more towards  the electric bikes ,scooters and camping gear.  I'm surprised that Tucker could have been in a bad place after the boost Covid gave the industry. But I've noticed they have been later to bring out the newer motorcycle catalogs. Still do not have a 2023 Dirt parts catalog out yet, that I know of. I do look at the website every so often to see what they have going on. Hopefully they can revive Tucker .

Tucker is far from fine, have been on credit hold with many/ most of their vendors for some time, liquidating the inventory they do have.

This sale may help, may not, they've changed hands several times over the last decade, and same results unfortunately.

New owners will need to pay down a lot of debt just to get product flowing again, be interesting to see how it shakes out

Unless the new company chose to acquire the debt - something well beyond unlikely - they will not need to pay it down/off. It is possible that the vendors will require this to ship to the new owners. But it is also possible the creditors will not recover their receivables.

I am a long time fan of Tucker and have very strong opinions about their recent history. The kind that often get me in trouble. I will just say that their situation can absolutely only get better than it has been.

i can vouch for this. a rep i know just quit because of credit hold issues. couldn't make a living selling stuff when you can't supply what he sells!

Tucker doesn't even have catalogs anymore.. Buy from Wps or Parts Unlimited. Shoot they cant even hire a rep for my area!!!

I had noticed the catalog thing. They have camping gear and tent catalogs, but their motorcycle and dirtbike part catalogs  are still 2022 versions. Seems like they are going in a different direction. Or were.
