Hunter had a scary look when commenting on Brian's ,er,,,, Haiden's comments.

Not hard to see a reckoning is coming and my bet is on Hunter.

The Deege should take a page out of Levi's book and keep the comments light (and his, not pop's}

The attempt at psychological warfare

 is laughable

Does anyone really believe the parents could not afford food.

Possibly a little bit of a stretch but then again I’ve never sold everything and moved halfway across the world.

Have you ever heard the story and how they stopped getting paid by the janky team in Europe that Hunter was riding for?

Dazzy, Jett, and Hunter all went into it, in depth, on whiskey throttle a year or two ago. They’re either very convincing liars and had the story rehearsed, or they were telling the truth. Seemed to be the latter to me.

It is a great story of dedication.  However, "family couldn't eat".  Come on, you where racing moto, not in a third world country.  That was a decision they made.  If they couldn't eat maybe the parents should have rethought that.  Just not valid in my book, it is a rich world statement.

I lived off canned tuna, cheap bread and ramen for a year while working a full time job in the earlier parts of my adulthood and I wasn't even spending my money traveling the world racing dirt bikes, nor did I even have a child let alone multiple children! So it's not really that big of a stretch to imagine someone footing that bill would have a tough time affording every other aspect of life. I was a single dude at the time and even then I hated having to budget that strictly so I can only imagine how tough it must've been being a father only being able to provide that for dinner night after night for your kids or even being a teenager starting to understand the sacrifice your family made to make your dream come true and slowly coming to the understanding you need to do well to make their sacrifice worth it.

His comment was very classy, in my opinion. Not only did he say he wanted a battle vs. having that many points handed to him, he addressed the drama farming "he should be feeling the pressure since he's suppose to be winning these races" by saying he's a grown ass man that has had to deal with actual pressure and struggles throughout his life without finger pointing or naming any names in an attempt to gain more clicks and views.

Not a Deegan hater by any stretch, I can see he's also a real talent, but I'm sure today was probably a bit humbling for him going DNF-10th on the day after talking a big talk on the podium at the last race. I know he's young so I can look past it and not judge his actual character at the moment because I know I have said some cringey shit as a teen and I wasn't even talented. However, I can still compare his comments to Hunter's and be able to tell which dude has has real life experience and maturity and know which one I can roll my eyes at in the meantime.

It has taken Hunter 7 years to be top dog, I would hope he's not pressured and intimidated by a first year rookie.

Darren (dazzy) used to not eat some meals so they could afford to feed hunter and jett whilst they were in Europe. If you want to hear the full story whiskey throttle did a show with the brothers and dad a few years ago. There story is pretty amazing to get to this point it’s a wild ride.

You’ve obviously been fortunate enough to never been broke with no support.

Or have the stress of risking years of your life’s hard work.

Any parent that puts moto above putting food on the table shouldn't be a parent.

Hunter is very classy and well spoken on the podium and in interviews, as is Jett.  Props to the Mother and Father for raising good, well mannered kids.   Refreshing to see in this sport.

The Lawrence bro's are going to be cleaning house the next 5-10 years!

Wow there’s some comments in here from people that are either really misinformed, or are just plain arseholes.

While I agree with most of your comment.. I’m not sure what you mean by “refreshing in this sport.” Most of the riders are very well spoken. This is the kind of sport that most come from middle to upper middle class families.

I honestly can’t think of one rider who isn’t well spoken.

Hey man,

They could've never taken a chance on their kids and hunter and jett lawrence could be back in Australia delivering pizzas or something like that.

Can you imagine what a shame that would've been ?

We would still be living in caves banging rocks against the wall if people didn’t take risks, win or fail it’s the only way you progress in life, not sure how some can bash them for it

Something along the lines of 'It's gotta be stressful for Hunter he's supposed to be winning these things' 'No pressure on me the pressure is on Hunter he should be winning' On the Washougal podium and in the Vital interview after the presser..

According to the Deegs he was riding faster in that first moto than he did at Washougal and was catching hunter 🤷 I must of been watching a different race as the only time LilDeegs caught Hunter was when Hunter was stuck behind lappers or in a battle. I thought I seen Hunter gap the Deegs every time he got close ??
