Well, to say this is an assumption, because it’s impossible to know all of what's going on that’s hidden from the public… As far as what is confirmed to exist, yes, Triumph has hid the bike pretty well. A video did leak of it being ridden, though. Ducati apparently has a bike and infrastructure nearly ready for MXGP, and up until a month or two ago, there was not even a word of them planning for it. It’s hard to say who’s keeping the best secrets, because the best secrets will be kept from you and I.

Im convinced my father in law has seen it in southern Spain where he lives. Trouble is he’ll have no idea what he was looking at.
He lives in Mojacar and takes a daily MTB ride across the mountains which takes him through the grounds of a MX track.
one particular day there was a small group there riding so he stopped to watch. But he was aggressively & swiftly escorted from the grounds. That hasn’t happened before or since..
“it was a black bike”, is all he could tell me!

I'd comment on part of the reason these secrets are so well kept but the thread would just get flushed like it always does......
There's not a huge amount of money in trying to get spy shots. The sport isn't big enough to sustain such an industry, especially since you don't want to expose yourself to possible repercussions like losing access to certain more public launches/events.
Those 'in the know' within the media circles will know where they are testing and so on, but will just leave them to it.

They're testing in Europe, UK and Spain primarily it sounds like.
US testing is going on at a facility they purchased (Matt Walker's Moto X Compound), which is in Georgia.
Also, based on the questioning and reaction I got in regards to that video that Desalle was on...I'd say it was a legitimate leak, they didn't plan that one.
I was involved with leaking an OEM's bike one time at their request, it was handled a lil differently.
