Interesting video given how things have gone since. How does this stack up to the grabbing up Stilez Robertson temper tantrum or whatnot?
Unfortunately that was Forkner’s MO at the time. Hoping he’s become a bit more humble with everything that’s happened since.
Yeah for sure both have matured since, I totally missed it at the time to be honest though I guess it's old news to most, I wasn't big on the social media stuff back then... or even now really, but I do at least keep an eye on Instagram and YouTube for for moto and military stuff now 😂
Emotions get the better of everyone I guess, especially when you're working your ass off and things aren't breaking your way, but it did seem kind of ironic given Hunter's recent trend of trying to clean people's clock or whatnot.
I'm curious to see how Hunter handles things at the next few rounds.

It sure wouldn't shock me if Hunter got a little "close" to another rider or two if things don't go his way.
Hunter's back is against the wall right now. I'm 100% sure we'll see the Hunter Lawrence, that takes guys out that are faster than him, for the last 3 rounds. Points are so close and he hasn't been winning like he should be. I expect a lot of bar banging, and Deegan better expect it too. Gonna be some crazy racing in 250 these last 3 rounds.
Who is faster than Hunter?
He's dropped 2 motos and taken a self inflicted 7 point penalty on the chin, and is still leading, and last sighted when upright, lol, was setting up to pass the dangerous one.
Deegan was clearly fast than Hunter last weekend. What race were you watching? And he didn't pass Deegan because he couldn't, he wasn't fast enough to get around him. So currently Deegan is fastest in the class. You're only as good as your last race.
Man, I don't know if I'd put too much elbow grease on the son of Brian Deegan. Dangerboy probably knows how to dish it right back. That's all I'm going to speculate about on that.

Deegan was 4 seconds faster than Hunter on lap 13 Moto 2... and faster the whole race.

It reminds me of the Bob Hannah / Kent Howerton era, tough racing.

Entirely true on your last point, but Hunter caught him in a hurry, unless you’re going to tell me Deegan was checking up for him.
I’m glad it’s turned out to be a real championship, but I’d bet money Hunter finishes it off. Deegan is more than capable of getting the red plate back, but his first taste of it lasted a single moto.

100% correct Hunter was pushing when he crashed… just like the way sexton was when he was all over Jett.
That’s part of racing just like Cooper missed a round with a crash. That’s a wash they both scored zero points for two motos.
