Looks like 2-smokers are indeed going EFI.

GasGas website has all 24' models listed, just duplicated with the 23's. Can't post link due to Vital thinking it's spam.

Hopefully some TBI miracles have occurred.

Not likely considering the 24’ KTM’s are basically BNG and a remap. Yes I know the xc’s got coil forks.

So what will be the difference between the ktm and the gasgas two stroke now if they update the gasgas? Just the triple clamps?

I think the best thing the ktm group could have done with the gasgas smokers is to leave them as is for the next 10 years. Don't put a dime into development and sell them cheaper. I guess the problem with that is that no one would want of their other two brands as long as they don't figure their mapping/injection issues. Let's fuck all three, now we talking!

The GG's will likely still have the softer "Vet/Novice friendly" suspension settings, and the cheaper unbranded rims and bars and the full braketec brakes, etc.

It appears the 2024 bike web pages being live was an early blooper on someone's part, lol.  Can't see them anymore now.   The official public media launch is Saturday in Italy.

I agree and really hoped they would have gone that route, even if they gave it the new plastics/frame.

I'll feel less hard done by that when I finally shift this 350 I'll be shopping for a current gen YZ or a '21-'23 GasGas two stroke, seeing as I want a carb and a kicker 😂

Hope they get the niggles sorted for the folks who want or need a fresh one.

I really like the looks of 24s but im not sold on the EF1 2 strokes. I might have to hold onto my 23. IMG 5896.JPG?VersionId=4OQvthWpXFjasZm4yYL5KCVCh

For a 125, it's a no brainer.  23 GasGas all day long.  +10lbs and minus 3HP is not a good deal in the 125 class.

I love my 22 MC450F but....

"One of the only components carried over from the outgoing generation of GASGAS motocross bikes are the Maxxis
MaxxCross MX-ST tires. Need to know why? It's simple. They perform so well on a wide variety of terrain and they're super- durable too. After all, who likes changing tires?"

Pffft.... They just lied to our face looking at us straight in the eyes.

Keep hearing the new frame on the sx bikes aren’t as good.

Can still get a 23 gas gas for 1k cheaper. Better to snatch an old one?

I’ve heard mostly good things about the new gen bikes from people that actually have them. That being said I got a new 23 mc350 I’m picking up next weekend because a bunch of my Husky stuff will swap over including my vortex. Figure I’ll upgrade to the new generation eventually but it’s tough to pull the trigger on a new bike then go buy a ton of stuff for it all over again. The stuff I am still buying I justify by what I saved buying a 23 😂

The new gen bikes are physically bigger, so better suited to taller guys.  The old gen is more comfortable for shorter people.  It's not a huge difference but it is a difference.   Some guys like certain things about the new 4-strokes better, but is it really going to matter to a local racer or Vet rider or Pro-practicer?  Or is saving a few thousand bucks more important?  I'd rather have a old-gen bike with a Vortex and 6500's and sprung for me than a new gen bike bone stock.  As far as the 2-strokes, I'd rather have the old-gen carb bikes and avoid the TBI mess like the plague.

With the removal of Brembo brakes and the struggling chassis, my 2022 EX350f might have just gone up in value lol.
