Still waiting for mine in the mail. Seeing everyone on my friends list playing is annoying. Smile
Hope no one is sick of it by the time my copy arrives.

I agree wholeheartedly with the downloadable tracks (also new gear, helmets, bike parts, etc.) idea. There really is no reason why this can't be done. It's compareable to downloading different songs for Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Please, Rainbow, this would be just insanely awesome.

Other than this suggestion, however, this game is the best game ever created ever in the history of ever. It truely is the most fun game I have ever played. SX is FINALLY a challenge. If you fuck up once in a rhythm section, you fuck the whole section up like real SX. MX is just as fun. Two thumbs up, Rainbow. Fantastic job.

they make a wi fi thing that you plug into your xbox for online connection, it's a lil pricey but it's nice

I dunno about this thing.

I have just about every MX video game ever made and have spent tons of time on all of them. Reflex has so many of the elements of the ultimate MX game down pat, but it has way too many of the same problems that Untamed had.

The bike basically has no natural stability. It's as if the physics on this game don't realize that a bike should become more stable the faster you go. It's kind of retarded, the rider will be standing perfectly straight up and down and the bike will just swap 90 degrees immediately with a complete loss of all forward momentum. I'm not whining that its too hard, its actually pretty easy to win on this thing. It just makes it damned annoying to play.

It seems like its essentially the same physics engine as Untamed, which I hated compared to its predecessors. Anyone I ever spoke to felt the same. Its almost a complete deal breaker, which is really unfortunate because everything else about this game is phenomenal. It looks amazing. The riders, bikes, gear, the dust, the tracks, all awesome. The bike tuning actually makes a difference. You actually have to use the brakes!

I'm not giving up on it but I am not throwing out my copy of Unleashed yet.

I just smoked a dewb and played it over at my friends house for the first time. It's freaking awesome! The whips seem better, the bike controls better, my clutch was on the L1 button. I don't mean to brag, but I've been playing Rainbow's games since MCM1, and have been a pretty kick ass dude speed wise, but this one is by far the most difficult/challenging one to go fast on. I like it though. I tried to play Unleashed on PC the other week, and the depth between the two is astonishing. I really enjoy the challenge. I doubt I'll ever get good at this game since I don't have an X-box, but it sure is fun.

I just wish my damn friend's girlfriend didn't come home. She got pissed when she saw us playing it, because apparently he stayed up all night glued to the TV.

WAY TO GO RAINBOW! I COMMEND YOUR JOB WELL DONE!
Funny stuff, right there... I guess I picked the right week to get sick. Been home all week and playing reflex. I think I was listening to you and your buddy today. At least some dudes were taking about weed and girlfriends...

I don't think anybody should be complaining about it! The game is a challenge, and you need to adapt to it. Just like motocross is tough as shit! How long have you been playing? The game has been out a total of 24 hours, give yourself a chance to adapt to it for crying out loud!

You have to change your bike settings to you riding style, i lean back alot just as a habit and i changed my bike settings and it no longer just darts to a 90 degree, ill tell you this, alot has to do with suspension and tires,

How the heck do you customize/Change the controls on the Xbox 360? I cant figure it out!

I mean on the 360, the gas is on the right, and the clutch is on the right, just above the gas. WTF?!?! Kind of like Untamed if you ask me.

the game is ten times better than the demo, or at least Ive figured it out. i wish i had a way to video a lap i think ill take best whip hands down, its a mix of twitch, bubba scrub, and potter all in one. The only thing i will say bad about it has been already pointed out, tell me how a 225lb bike can go straight up to on its side in less than a second while going 40mph when you go 2inches off the ground unless you drop off the side or bubba scrub a breaking bump? not complaining though its badass!

P.S. id pay what ever it took to download some tracks, even if they dont have fans, elements outside the track, new challenges are fun

Thanks Rainbow for all your hard work. It paid off. I believe I see now what the developers were doing with the demo. Stunning graphics, exciting game play.

Congratulations.

Only one raspberry with the game. I feel the music blows goats. So I turned it off.
Yes, the music is terrible. I found it interesting they chose to put in christian rock band Dogwood's song "My faith in you will never die" Unsure I can't believe they put the monster truck idiot in as the announcer for the entire game. He has always been the most embarrassing part of sx imo. I cringe every time I hear that guy's voice. As far as the rest of the game goes, it is good except for the physics; how the bike doesn't get more stable as you go faster or how it feels like a bmx bike when you whip it...way too light...shoulda made the rider's weight optional like in Jet Moto 2. Also they didn't put in the white-soled, white Alpinestar tech 10s... unbelievable...I hate the black-soled white ones haha.

Complaining about this game is like looking at a Michelangelo painting and saying, "ya know, I think this color is a shade too dark." Or, "Ya know, I wish this was just slightly different. Maybe just a centimeter over to the left"

This game is so complex and sophisticated compared to games in the past, that since there are a million different things to notice, we find little tiny things to complain about. Instead of noticing a few flaws (depending on the person), pay attention to all the great things.

This game is amazing. I personally like that the bike can unexpectedly get out of control. That's what happens in real life, anyways. It adds an element of unpredictability to the game, like fumbling, or interceptions on football games, which always makes those exciting.

Agreed my only complaint is the selection of tracks, there needs to be more. I would buy xbox points for a track , granted I feel there should be more on the game as it is.

I love the game! The voice of supercross is pretty cool too if you ask me. Not to be a complainer, but the only part that I don't like is that you can only race against the full lineup of riders. You can't choose them to race with. Bummer. Awesome job on the game though!

I love the game too. I honestly do.

The 2 biggest complaints I have are the AI/collision, along with the lack of depth and customization. NBA and NFL games can have pretty sub par gameplay but they have tons of different game modes and very in depth and customizable seasons. That's the key to longevity if you ask me. Seems like such a simple and un-creative fix too..

But my hang ups are really just about the lack of replay and depth in a game that has great gameplay and presentation. Just leaves me wanting more to do!

Can someone tell me if you can free-ride on the mx and sx tracks? I've tried racing by myself but I cant go backwards and goof off like I could in untamed and unleashed.

where is an actual series? there are "National Series" races but they are stand alone events. no points, no series standings, nothing. hell, the racers aren't even the same from one race to another... in one of the national series, Stewart and Carmichael were lined up next to me. in the very next race they weren't even on the line... odd.

also the sx portion blows imo. if you case the smallest double your momentum is shot for the rest of the lap. not the section, but the lap. not only that, but i have my suspension all the way soft and it's still bouncier than a pogo stick. stiff? same thing, bouncy. also, why when i let off the gas does the whole bike start sliding sideways? makes 90 degree corners followed by a jump a nightmare. never know what the bike is going to do.

and before anyone starts saying i need to learn how to play, i can still beat the all-time by bouncing around the track like a Richard Simmons infomercial.

that said, i think the motocross portion is fucking amazing. i love the tracks, and i love the way the bike handles outdoors. give me more outdoor tracks on xbox live and i would gladly spend the money needed to get them. and the terrain deformation is simply amazing.

rbw, take this game and build on the existing platform for the next game. building a brand new game from scratch has to be strenuous, and you can use what works and get rid of what doesn't work.

Love the game mechanics! Everything feels great. (except the douchebag computer AI riders cleaning my clock every chance they get...)

The only thing that would make it perfect is to ditch the 4 wheeled vehicles, the FMX, waypoints, etc.and just focus solely on MX/SX.

All us moto junkies want to throw down in a 12rd MX series and a 17rd SX series, preferably on models of actual tracks. The rest of the series' and vehicles are taking up valuable space that could have been used for more SX/MX tracks and actual riders.

You can't please everyone, but you can please those who mean the most to you. Us!

In all seriousness, who do you think is your core buying group? Hardcore MX lovers, quad lovers, buggy lovers (all 4 of them), truck peeps or casual race fans?

Great game. Thanks for making it!
