with all the talk of Jett and who can challenge him in the future etc….. and you can take this with a grain of but the way I’m seeing things and what could happen , with his style and his approach of racing I feel Justin cooper on the 450 will be the 1 to take it to Jett , not chase , not my boy Webb or hunter but j coop
Ok calm down, we've all had a drink...
If they both keep improving / staying on their trajectory they are currently on, I believe the next changing of the guard will be Jett to Deegan or they will be battling over it in the next 3 or 4 years
😂😂
yeaa I can def see haiden in the mix , with the raw speed and the insane fitness he has to keep the pace going for a whole moto

Deegan has nowhere near the technical mastery that Jett has. Deegan can scrap with the other 250 guys, but Jett is on the same tracks on the same days putting 3 second gaps on lap one of the 450 class and managing races so well that legends like RC and JS can’t really even tell if he’s trying. Deegan has a loooooong way to go before this conversation has even a shred of sensibility.
Cooper?! the guy has barely proven himself, sure he's got speed, he goes down a lot and finds it hard to race forward through the pack, he's been in the class long enough, with the sample size he's provided he ain't going to take it to Jett Cooper isn't at the level of the elite (ET, Sexton, Jett, Roczen maybe put Ando in there), he's in the second tier of factory riders.
Get used to Jett being up front, I don't know how obvious it can be in how good he is, he's 19 making it look easy he's most likely going to improve for another 5 years, I love Deegan watched him since 85's I don't see him challenging Jett either with the current skill set he has, the positive for Haiden is that he wants it really really bad just like the past greats, he's seen the bar (Jett) so he has a carrot to chase and improve, but Jett is Jett we will see when it's time.
no chance. justin only has 4 overalls in the 250 and those are from great starts. I do not see him challenging jett on a 450.
J-coop turns 26 next month. He is only 1 year younger then ap and ac. And 2 years younger the webb.
He ride well those 450 sx racers he did. But I think the star 250 assists him with his strengths and weaknesses.
I like Cooper, as well as Deegan.
But if/when they move up to the open class, they'll just be two more racing around 20-30sec behind Jett vying for the other podium spots.
And that's just the way it is.
We’ll race him when it’s time?
"future of the sport" vs future of the sport
Nope. Cooper doesn't have it. Example, he has only won 4 overall outdoors in his career. He doesn't possess the killer instinct and that's why he cannot move through the field if he gets a poor start. Great rider, but not "one of the greats" or anywhere close.
"future of the sport" vs the future is here
I like Deegan...I really do but like the other also rans....the only way to beat Jett is to break his legs.
I'm tellin' ya fellas...we are witnessing something special. I'm older than dirt. I've been hanging over the snow fence and been amazed by everyone from John Banks, Joel, Roger, Heikki, Brad, Marty, Kent, Bob, Tony D.....MC, Ricky, Eli, and all the other hot shoes in-between. DV has never made a truer observation...Jett is a genetic freak. I don't think we have seen his ceiling yet.
Barring injury...I don't think he has any legit competition for the foreseeable future. If he sold stock...I'd be buying.
I don't say this as a fanboy but I got eyes.
Tomac is not exactly a technical master either but I have a feeling he could still run with Jett.
I think we're in all living in Jett's world until he decides to hang it up. There is no one close to him from a technical standpoint and his fitness is on point working with Johnny O. It's a lethal combination when talent of that level works hard and has the fitness to go with it.
Beast mode Eli is phenomenal but Jett lives in that mode...not just a visitor.
Pit Row
Unfortunately, I think Jett will make it boring for the next decade as Carmicheal did. I hope I am wrong but the kid is making it look pretty easy. Maybe Hunter can move up and give him some heat but Jett always seemed to have his number in the 250 class so I think 450 will be the same. Chase is a bad dude though so I hope he can get it together and make it interesting.
Keep this kind of shit in the Instagram comments
Lol...reminds of that old saying, "A lot of men tried and a lot of men died...trying".
Haven't seen anyone yet that can hang without going down.
I've never seen Instagram...what do you mean?
Instagram and YouTube are full of over thought terrible takes like this.
Jett wins 5 fuckin races against one of the most depleted fields in history and all of a sudden he’s the GOAT lol…Cooper had him beat 2 years ago and a bonehead decision trying to run down J Mart at the end of a moto for the win cost him his 2nd title in a row that year. Then a catastrophic foot injury caused 2022 to be a throwaway year for him other than MXoN. Now here in 23 Cooper killed it in 450SX (something Jett hasn’t done yet he had to get a sandbag year in) and is coming for this outdoor title. Thank you OP at least one other person doesn’t have Jett sauce all over their face around here and can look at things objectively.
i will say, i definitely think it WONT be Deegan....THAT style doesnt translate to 450.
Well, that's just like, your opinion man.
It would take a full time beast mode Tomac or a healthy happy Webb, or a non-crashing Chase, or blah blah blah to run with Jett. If every pro you can name was lined up...healthy and fit...they'd still be gunning for second place.
I ain't saying everyone else is a goon but holy crap...you gotta believe what you're seeing.
Jett has only raced 5 times to win those 5 races in the PREMIER class.
Cooper has been in the little bike class since 2017 and only has 4 wins total.
I'd bet $1,000 that Cooper never wins a title over Jett if Jett stays healthy. Hell, I'd damn near bet $1,000 that Cooper never wins a moto over Jett the rest of their careers at this point.
Justin Cooper ain't the future...which reminds me, NYMotocross....we know you got a new username now, time to pay up on those bets.
Lol that's a hot take.
So j-coop killed the 450 sx.
And jett sand bagged. Doing a 4th 250 sx at 19.
Well then what the f is jcoop doing now in the 250s in his 7th season at 26?
Jett is superior to any other motocross or supercross racer racing in the United States. I think he'd beat the Bullet at this point also.
Idk why you guys are sleeping on Hunter. He’s the only guy that has a chance to challenge Jett once the current 450 stars retire
