Go buy a new vehicle and ask for roll up windows. Then load up the kickstart Suzuki.

If Suzuki adds E-start the same dudes that sucks down beer and brats like they are going out of style will bitch about the bike being too heavy. Suzuki could address the weight issue and the same dudes will still bitch that it took them too long to make the changes. That’s the reality of it.

Yea pretty much what I’m saying.

Not really. The general consumer would just like the bike to have e-start and weight be in line with the other brands, as an option. I think that is a fair request, given how the MX industry is. I think you are over-emphasizing the "it took to long to update" crowd. That is hardly a reason to defend leaving the bike as-is.

He better ask for a hand crank start Truck to be brought back as well, since E-Start is so bad.

I was totally bummed for Kenny when I saw him kicking his bike in the middle of the track last week.  On the other hand, I was thinking, yeah, Kenny and I are a lot alike.

That's a long time to be kicking a Honda. But it makes sense that a Honda from '08 hasn't been able to start in 15 years from new..

There should be a kickstart only class.

I had a 04 250R, if I didn't kill it by pulling in the hot start lever, it was many kicks to bring it back to life. Just sayin

I had a Honda 450r (atv) I used to race. It had a kick start. And sometimes, it would try and kick start you.

Having a kickstarter would be better if it were 5 lbs lighter than the other bikes. Having a kickstarter and being the heaviest seems like poor engineering to me.

I'm all for Suzuki to stay racing. But come on man put a e start on the dam thing. If I'm spending 9k on a new bike it better have the button.

I wish my Husky had a kick starter. My battery died during an enduro race and couldn’t get it running!

I have a 2007 KTM 525 XCW with a kick starter and electric start, hardly noticed the added weight of the kick starter and the piece of mind knowing it's there just in case your battery dies is nice.  I can see bikes used strictly for motocross having an electric start, since it's not a long ways back to the truck, but when you're 50 miles into a trail ride, it could be a long walk unless you have a nice hill you can bump start it.
