Me too! Hope the kid gets a break here. It would be awesome to see someone new rise up to the top level. Racing needs that with Eli gone and Jett dominating. I think Ty could do that. He has the talent and his conditioning was unreal yesterday.
Agreed.
Ty’s style reminded me of a young Villopoto this weekend.
And still the original point stands, how would Masterpool be better? Lol
What did kroc do for hrc millions of $$. No 450 titles, same as ac

AC is a good factory pilot for kawi imo. The wins may or may not come, but he does represent the team/brand very well. And, it's not like he's 15th or lower. Roczen helped Honda drive sales, and AC does the same for kawi.
The difference: Kenny’s (and Chase’s) struggles with the Honda were in SX, not the Outdoors.
I agree its way too soon. But the dude is a parking lot pro and passed AC9, Ferrandis, Web, Plessinger on a stock motor. That shit dont normally happen and was pretty rad even if it was a one time deal.
Stock motor w just a pipe? Confirmed?
According to James, the stock bike was a better choice for the conditions, so it's not like Masterpool won on a machine with some huge disadvantage.
I believe Masterpool dominated as an amateur, and his family owns a training facility. I find it hard to classify him as a 'regular privateer'.
That said, it he was still very entertaining to watch.
only PhilG could think that beating a person one time means they deserve their job.
Last time I checked, AC and Webb still beat Ty at Thunder Valley
AC is class act…..and great ride by this Ty fellow👍
I think the sport is evolving. Allowing riders and parents to be more involved, especially since the kids are getting younger can be a good thing. Sometimes it doesn't work but for many it does. I remember a rider from Texas that liked his suspension but was told it wasn't the "Norm" by the likes of Mitch at PC and others, yet he was successful. I remember meeting with K McCarty and offering to help a rider and then him denying we met, and I'm being kind. The sport is changing,....for the good. The politics in this sport are Brutal.
PC should
He needs to stay on his bike.
Regal was getting podiums as a privateer a decade or so ago, and not long before that Cody Cooper was the closest person to taking away James perfect season in 08’.
What do they both have in common? They got factory (ish) rides the next season and never found that magic again.
As DV said, if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!
