I'm not completely certain ANYONE on this planet...has anything for Jett.  Webb can usually hang somewhere near Tomac.  He's not in Jetts zip code.

If Eli needed an unprecedentedly cool reason to come back, he’s looking at it right now.

The deegan show folks. More deegan family interviews. How exciting.

I fully recognize that it's also a matter of how often questionable things are happening, but still stood out to me.

If you don't see the difference between what AP did and what Deegan was trying to do, then you either need to take your blinders off or you need to learn more about the sport.  AP brake checked Ty because Ty was revving the bike out right behind him, and was pressuring him late in the race.  Ty is a privateer and AP is a premier rider that should always be top 5.  What AP did was on the last lap to hold position.

Deegan was swerving all over the track trying to road grade, brake checking, and most importantly cross jumping very dangerously with 20 min + 2 laps to go, with a clearly faster rider trying to pass him.  It was complete lack of speed and racecraft.  The kid needs to learn when to give up the spot when he doesn't have the speed, and then learn from the faster rider.  that's racecraft.  That shit we saw today was juvenile.

I didn't see everything so I am probably the devil's advocate, but I do remember some dirty riding from Webb on Musquin's 250 outdoor title chase against Martin being totally "cool" for most. (which if I remember that almost 10 years later, it was not at all and probably why I am not a big CW2 fan ; not that much on the riding but as Martin's team mate). All that to say that it depends on people's perception and fanbase. But, even as a Deegan fan, I like agressive riding but when I read cross jumping then I am also ok to say he must chill a bit cause it can be dangerous. Brake checking, pushing, whatever, as soon as it is not too sketchy and potentially injuring someone, then I am ok, for me it is just racing hard.

You are probably right regarding the french championship (also because there are quite a few GP guys, plus quite a few that should be in the GPs if that was not that expensive to sign in and with bonuses on the line = very fast bounty hunters in SX all over national championships in europe, i.e Aranda, Soub, Ramette, Irsuti, Do, etc). But I think Romain Pape gells quite well on the ama tracks, not the first time he is trying it (with his best last year at thunder valley) and the results are very decent, quite impressive.

Let me make it as clear as I can for all of you.

I fully understand the issues with the way Deegan rode today.

One of the things mentioned as evidence of the problems with how he rode is brake checking.

Minutes later a guy people like brake checked someone and the result was laughter.

I am not commenting on Deegan or AP. I'm commenting on how blatantly obvious it is that so many people interpret things based essentially on whether or not they like the guy involved.

I think we do understand.  We just don't think there's a double standard or Deegan hate going on here.

Haiden pulled a rookie dumbass move.  He can either stop being a dumbass or make a career out of it....others have...ask Barcia.  (I like Barcia but the dumbass is strong in him).

Lawerence has plenty of peers. They just happened to all be injured or in Europe.

Healthy Chase would. He ran faster laps at Pala and caught Jett multiple times while taking slow outside lines on a one lined track.  Not saying it’s a given he’d be beating Jett but he’d be right with him IMO. He clearly pushed Jett moto 2 at Pala, they beat 3rd by 44 seconds. And that was on a day that Chase wasn’t feeling well all day.  Coulda been a great summer if not for Chase’s injury IMO.

Plenty?  Tomac and Sexton yes (albeit based on only two races).  Anderson and Barcia might push him occasionally but no evidence to suggest they are this good.

The field might not be deep but the guys he’s gapping 2-3 secs per lap aren’t exactly slouches - they have six national titles between them.

You might be right...Chase is a rocket.  But, so far, Jett seems to be able to run ludicrous speed without eating shit.  Haven't seen others able to do that.

I would be willing to bet that Webb has been beaten by over 30 seconds in motos more then he has finished within 30 seconds.

Jett is insanely talented and is the future, but he is being helped by the weakest field we have ever seen since they finally got rid of the 500s and made it one complete series.

Why did they increase the time between the 1st motos and the 2nd motos. Seems odd.

Is it for the riders to get better recovery.  Cant see it helping the TV side of things.

Chase also nearly ate dirt a couple of times trying to keep up.
