Guessing this will be very controversial but it's just my opinion. Everyone always shits on MXGP for not having 40 riders on the gate but honestly I think it makes for better racing. Makes it way easier for the fastest riders to make their way to the front if they get a bad start, not to mention way less lappers.

30 would be a much better option

Largely depends on the track, but overall I'd say 30 would be much better than 40. Most of the guys 30th and back are a good bit over 10 seconds a lap off the leaders.

Stew is one to talk about cross jumping. Someone throw on Unadilla 05 or Jacksonville 09

Youre not actually talking about the stew Carmichael crash are you ?Laughing

The same exact line that he had been taking lap after lap after lap? The one where carmichaels line happened to cross in front of his?

That was a racing incident, and that still wouldn't constitute cross jumping... Cross jumping happens when you're in front of someone, not behind them🙄

Wouldn't the AMA take a look at Deegans games and talk to him. Maybe race forward? Quit swerving and brake checking? I'm thinking Hunter has a little more experience and if he wants to punt Deegan he certainly could.

Wait till he plays his game with Barcia.  Justin owns that game.

Barcia will be retired by the time he moves up

I think this stuff has been discussed before.  Like red flagging the bottom 5 in lap times every 10 minutes.

I don't think it's fair to kick people off the track for that, and that wouldn't even address the issue of it taking so long for fast riders to recover from a bad start. 40 can just seem a bit excessive at times, especially when the track is difficult to pass on. 40 is fine at somewhere like Ironman.

Correct. Stop acting like every track needs degree of difficulty turned up to 11 and just give them something they can move around on and this is non issue.

I know someone downvoted me earlier when I said it, but does anyone REALLY believe Jett isn't going 1-1 on this track? I'd bet my fucking house on it.
