One thing I absolutely love about my job (US Navy MWR) is that I haven't paid to see a concert since probably 2000. I've seen (and photographed) everyone from Jimmy Buffet to Switchfoot to Five Finger Death punch and I haven't paid a dime.
Jimmy Buffet (2016)
Switchfoot (2015)
Five Finger Death Punch (2015)
Michael Franti - Red Rocks
Young the Giant - Red Rocks
Milky Chance - Red Rocks
Ghostland Observatory - Gothic Theater
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
Going to see Ringo Starr and his all star band tonight
Thrice is one of those bands that turned my head. I sort of liked them in the early 2000s, then forgot all about them. Then I heard "Hurricane" and thought, "whoa, these guys changed for the better." Insane song, and that dude's voice changed like it's the metaphor for his whole life.
They’re incredible live. One of the few bands that sound like their recording. Great musicians.
Yup, those guys fuckin ripped last night! Soo good live. On to Expendables and Rebelution next week….
Outside of the Beastie Boys, Social Distortion has put on some of the best shows I've ever seen! I've got tickets to see them in Tucson August 9th. Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen (RIP) are are a close 3rd and 4th as great live performances I've been too.
Not really a summer show, but this fall I’m headed out to Vegas for the When We Were Young Festival.

I saw Tesla this week. Loved them when I was young, They sounded just as I remembered them, great live performance.
nice to see some other New Found Glory fans on this forum

I'm going to see Motionless In White in September. Not that anyone will know who the heck that is.
Aerosmith Ball arena
Kansas 50th Anniversary Tour coming to town in September. Yes, I’m old. 😎
Took my oldest to Expendables/Rebelution show. She got to meet the Expendables and they signed a shirt for her!
I’m going to see what’s left of Pantera on thursday at a Rockfestival in Finland. Saw the real Lineup with Abbots in 1998.
Pit Row
I'll be there on Oct. 21! Really looking forward to it, but bummed it's all condensed to fit into one day (same lineup each day)instead of spreading out the acts over the two. Some really tough decisions will have to be made.
I'm not a country genre guy, but my hometown had its very first Backcountry Festival that was pretty cool for our area. I went only one day and got to see Midland headline (even got a pick for my wife from the lead guy who threw it out to the crowd). But I was super impressed by the bluegrass group AJ Lee & Blue Summit. They killed it and I was astonished at how fast they could play.
Going to see Avenged Sevenfold end of July . Their new album is wild .
same, july 31st with alexisonfire
Volbeat with hailstorm july 17th.
Really wanted to see Smashing pumpkins and Stone Temple Pilots at Yaamava casino in August until I saw the prices. Man are these things getting expensive
Lucky you. Tesla is a fantastic band!
The last concert I went to was annoying. Most everyone was standing with their phones overhead recording or making tik tok videos. Sadly, I think my concert days are behind me…
June is gig month for us.
Arctic Monkeys this Saturday
The Mats Volta next Saturday
Queens of the Stone Age and the Black Keys the following week, not together.
Then my son has his 1st gig with a new band he's started at the end of the month.
I know its not summer but I just secured tickets to see Tool this fall!!!!!!! PUMPED
Gonna be the 1st time seeing them
Saw Tool late last year, not their biggest fan but my son wanted to go see them and specifically Danny Carey. They were excellent.
Arctic Monkeys big hometown gig yesterday, they were very good, the crowd was horrendously aggressive though.
The Hives were the main support act and I would recommend going to see those dudes anyday of the week.
The Mats Volta last Saturday put on one of the best shows I have seen. Extremely glad I got to see them.
Queens of the Stone Age last night were also brilliant, and in a historic venue close to where I live too.
Going to see The Cult at the same venue 5th July.
Just bought tickets for me and my daughters to see Metallica at the Meadowlands. It will be their first concert. Can't believe how expensive tickets have gotten.
Good first concert, enjoy.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers are on at Tottenham football ground London, the shittiest seats are £106, next best are £155. Standing all gone but resale on Ticketmaster £256 each. WTF.
