…..also what makes the Epstein-barr scary is examples like how this haunted Roczen for quite a while and led to him really battling fatigue for quite a long time.  It had a major effect on his racing.  I’m a huge Chase fan so I hope he gets through this fast and easy.

As bad as it was for Roczen, it can be exponentially worse. It completely ruins some people’s lives.

Yeah I kinda confused myself lol. Shouldn’t have used BS, not discounting the concussions or even mono, but mono sounds suspect to me and gives him an out for the remainder of the season. I think this is the last we see Chase this outdoor season. If I’m wrong, I will happily eat crow.

 Honda was almost guaranteed to have 2 red bikes up front and on the podium every round. How would Honda paying Chase to not race "work for both of them" ?

He was the only competitive Honda in 450 Supercross, so that was fine. Now that Jett is on a 450 in the outdoors and is now their main priority for this season and many years beyond, getting rid of the one guy who can hang with him is not a long shot. This is still a business. 

It’s a fantastic scenario for Honda if chase takes both championships to ktm and then proceeds to never win another after stepping away from HRC.

There's a female downhill mountain biker who took two consecutive concussions a few years ago. Lorraine Truong, who now has partial paralysis from racing again while concussed and taking a second fall.

I was thinking you could get EBR from over training. When I made my comment about Chase. I thought that's what they were saying was going on back in the late 90's when top pros were getting it all the time.

But after reading a little bit more about it I see that is not as likely as I was thinking. What if Chase got it from Kenny? sharing a water bottle at the track? They ride together or did. It can stay dormant and then flare up years later. Who knows maybe Chase gave it to Kenny?  I could see somebody grabbing the wrong drink by mistake  if they are training and riding bikes together.
