How Long Before the Honda Semi Boils Over?

Maybe it's just me but I feel like Jett is wound tight right now and I wouldn't be surprised if he pops off first time chase beats him straight up.

I think both riders will need to get physical with one another on the track to make passes. We’ll see what happens when Jett doesn’t get a holeshot. I feel Chase could’ve ran it in on Jett a few times yesterday in the 2nd moto, but he held back.

Edit. He is. There are 2 semis and Lars is not silly.

I assume HRC will favour Jett in the long run as it won't sit well if Sexton takes the #1 plate to KTM next year. My personal take is Sexton is on a slippery slope. I mean, if it reaches boiling point late in the season and shit hits the fan then Honda may just bench him...pure speculation but Honda can do it. 

Personally I think Jett will have Sexton covered this year as between the two, Sexton is prone to give points away through mistakes.

Both these dudes are pretty clean riders and are way to mature to get caught up in thuggery in order to gain points.

I look forward to these two dudes sorting it out on track. It's gonna be epic.

When Jett starts losing. If he ever does.

I'm  picturing any drama being like Jimmy and Chazz from Blades Of Glory or Dale and Brennen from Step Brothers before they become friends...

No drama between them because they will both go out with injuries and Webb will take the championship. Stamp it!!! 

Lars comes across as a very fair, but strong leader, I think this combined with the fact that both Chase and Jett have intelligent inner circles will mean it doesn’t blow up. After all, it only has to last this summer 

I think it boils over myself. I do not think Jett will be able to just run away from chase. Jett has also shown if someone can match his raw speed he panics a bit. 

I can see it being clean until Jett gets a bad start and runs it in on Sexton on his way through, then it's all on.

I'm just waiting on the Jett fanboy train to crash when things don't go his way. The kid is fast and can ride out front but with the way all of you fanboys are already writing off the rest of the field is hilarious. It's a very long and hot summer coming up so I'll hold off until the last moto is run in the series to make bold claims of a Jett run-a-way win fest. 

After the race yesterday, Jett didn't even acknowledge Chase and he was right next to him.  Chase came by and have him a 1 second handshake.  They are not buddies, that is for sure. I hope there is some drama as all the riders bring down is no fun.

I would hate to be under the same tent as my #1 competitor.  It's not good, dad's are going to get pushy when Jett gets roughed up,...you can't be buddy buddy in that situation. Lars said it best yesterday, he loves 1 and 2 but didn't comment on the inner personal vibe.

Excluding 2000 a2 as jett was a kid. All the times jett has crashed has been when he has rushed trying to overtake slower riders.

Every time some1 has matched jett. He has taken a step and gone to the next level.

Yep. And after watching chase and Eli go overboard showing each other respect over the past year, it's noticeably different. Sort of tells you where the animosity in the relationship is coming from.

Dunge and Roczen went at it with KTM. Dunge was established champ and Roczen was the rookie.  They held it together.

Honda has 2 semi's, a Lawrence semi and a Chase semi...

they may have to them park further apart!

there was no congratulations from either side regarding SX titles. Jett and Hunter didn't even acknowledge Chase winning, nor did Chase acknowledge Jett and Hunter. 

They are competitors.

It should be an entertaining season.
