I like the idea of a sand whoop drag race to the finish
I don't know if I like these changes.
1. Looks like the leap will be easier.
2. Those sand rollers into the 180 right used to be 1 of the main overtaking spots. Now it's gone.
get some 250's over it a bit easier
That's gonna be such a fast section of the track. Bull turn, fast dark corner, flag jump, pinned around the long 90 to the leap. Dudes are gonna be hauling ass
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts
$189.95 - $239.95
I imagine this will shorten lap times at least a few seconds.
I’m all for changes, don’t know what works if you don’t try.
JS7 would have had a sick scrub over the leap now with that huge run at it. 🤘
I was hoping for some things on the south side of the track but this will be interesting. As some have mentioned they will likely shave a few seconds off this section and will be hauling ass. Definitely conducive to todays bikes imho.
He and RC would land in the left hander in front of the giant Monster cans lol!
I like the changes, opens up the track a bit
Red Budddd and Milleville are the most scenic tracks in the country.
Both are just breath taking.
stay tuned....
So where are y'all seeing these changes, all I see is one section?
I like change... that was super easy, a dozer and gannon and a couple hours. What else? There has to be more than that... Right?
just made for the V.I.P. tickets buyer to get more action in front of them
I think the second year in qualifying race someone crashed and bike flew into the crowd. The bulldozer tore it away before motos started that day.
This layout will be better then what they have had the last 5-10 years. It's f
Gone back to a similar to the 90's-2000 layout. Already excited to go racing it this weekend. I just hope they built the rollers to last. My biggest gripe of the track is how shitty they are and how quick they break down.
I like the flow. My only concern, Larocco's Leap looks substantially easier which is no biggie for the pros, but might create temptation for those who probably should not be tempted. Once one 250C racer hits it, you know they all do at that point.
Pit Row
I like the run up to the Leap but I'm not a fan of 180 degree turns and then a straightaway. I would put the rollers on the lane next to the Leap and then followed the path I put below with maybe a hip jump at the top and have an off camber right where it re-enters the original.
they would never. Thats where 50% of the crowd watches.
Yep, that's a big time spectator area...
That's sacred ground. I've consumed cases of Busch light in that exact area and that's not something that should be taken away.
if this happens then where will i get hammered? Some of my buddies set up right there and don't move!
I know that but I was opening up the area between my new section and the new rollers. Even if it's not viable, I hate back and forth sections.
You need to visit Washougal
Once upon a time the track did something similar.
Dude are you saying your posse never watches the action on the other side of the track where the real hard core moto happens?
I think that already happens.
you seem like more of a bud light guy
I don't mind Bud Light. Any AB Inbev product is fine by me.
