Did you forget J Coop?
1) Hunter
2) JCoop

4) Hampshire

7) Kitchen
1. JCoop
2. Vialle
3. Jo
4. Hunter
5. Kitchen
6. RJ.
1. Cooper - Has the best starts and has almost always beaten Hunter, look to mxdn, 2021, and even 2022 during mid-season when he was winning motos (he only has lost to hunter consistently during the first few rounds and last few rounds of 2022 and that was bc he was coming back from injury and was sick the last 3 rounds) AND he's been grinding outdoors past 4 months
2. Hunter - Gonna be way more consistent than the other contenders, but history proves he's just a click off the speed of j-coop
3. Vialle - He's new but he's gnarly fast outdoors, and he's got the starts
4. Shimoda - He's probably up there speed wise with the front 3 but he crashes a lot bc he rides with his elbows down and he usually gets really bad starts and has a few off rounds
5. Hampshire - Just a click off speed wise, but he looks much better this year so we'll have to see if he can level it up
6. Martin - Has much more speed than Hampshire but I have a feeling he'll get a midseason injury
7. Kitchen - has proven he can win and is more consistent than the rest of the field (other than the ones I mentioned ofc)
J.Coop with 4 overall mx wins since 2018 but still the favorite each year for outdoors.
In saying that, J.Coop staying down and not racing 450's to focus on a lites mx title. Im sure Star are expecting him to perform
Vialle, Shimoda, J.coop and Lawrence should all be battling for that title

I'll be happy is he proves me wrong because I really like the kid, but I just don't see Mosiman making a complete 180 from his SX season in the short amount of time he's been back on the bike.
My top 7
1 Jo
2 Hunter/JCoop (interchangeable in my opinion)
3 Vialle
4 RJ
5 Kitchen
6 Deegan
7 Ryder D
Damn …everyone sleeping on J-Mart!!! Last time I seen him on the Moto track he was passing back n forth with Jet at iron man!
Crap forgot about J Coop and J Mart.
Honestly no idea. I got jcoop as my favorite but I’ll add that I’m 10 fold more excited for 250’s than 450’s. Chase is going to hold the red plate from the first moto to the end unless he gets hurt.

Why do you think Honda is going to let Sexton walk and keep Jett? They see every day what you don’t. It’s not like Sexton is old and on his way out. At the MXoN, Jett was amazing on the 450. Sexton will not run the table.
sexton is the one who wants to leave. he wants to be the main attention of the team.

Not a Deegan fan at all. But the kid put in a super solid SX, kept the bike upright, the nerves are out and confidence is high. I think he could possibly take it.

2) Deegan
3) Lawrence
4) Shimoda
5) Coop
6) Kitchen
7) Vialle
Can I have what you been smoking?
Deegs was super impressive. But he never actually out raced any of the top guys hunter, anstie, Smith, Jo or thrasher. He beat them by capitalising on their mistakes.
He did dominate j-mart tho.
So if the top 5 all have a smooth race. I don't expect him to be top 5. I expect him to be about 7-8 But if he races the same way he races in sx. And others have bad starts and tip overs he should be around 4-6
I cant see Deegan having much for J mart outdoors.
1 Coop or 2 Hunter (the battle for the title, and it could be a very tight one)
3 RJ or 4 Shimoda (I think RJ made a step this year, and is more consistent, Shimoda is always consistent and now close to win speed)
5 Martin or 6 Vialle (rookie year, podium next one) or 7 Kitchen or 8 Deegan or 9 Smith or 10 Vohland (if the top 4 is healthy, these 6 may get a couple podiums or moto wins too, I feel most of the battles will be in this group)
Btw, when Robertson, Swoll, McAdoo and Forkner will be back ?
Note : for those who want 1 supercross series in 250, here the 250 "saves" again all the interest to follow the nationals, where most/many heavy hitters are there while the 450 class is much more predictable (not to say depleted unfortunately). Remove a good third of the factory rides in 250 then during the summer this class would look a bit like the 450 class. No need to fix what is not broken
1. Hunter
2. Vialle
3. RJ (If he stays up, he's in career best form right now)
4. J coop
5. Shimoda
6. Deegan
7. Martin
That was hard, I believe Deegan will be better outdoors but outdoors has more competition so I can't place him that high up but I think he can do better than 6th.
Vialle got smacked around in SX however his stint in the GP's were impressive if he brings that form he will be pretty tough to beat.
I think it will be a 3 way battle between
Hunter, j-coop and Jo.
Rj, vialle and kitchen will be battling for podiums and wins. But they won't have the consistency of the top 3.
J-mart, deegan will be 5-8 most races.
Then vohland, mosiman, hymas, ryder d, Smith, will be battling for last few spots in the top 10.
Pit Row
All international 123
Shimoda, vialle , hunter champ will be in this lot .
Think farres will be dark horse.
Jmart would my pick from usa
That's a solid run down that I'd be happy to see play out.
Would love to see Jo get it done, but I won't be disappointed with anyone on that list taking the title.
250s should be excellent this year.
Farres and Thrasher and a couple others could shake up individual rounds too.
I believe we won't see thrasher till 2024.
He did his shoulder. Dislocated his hip and already had a torn acl. That he got fixed.

I'm friggin pumped for the outdoor season. The 250 class in particular, there's a good mixed bag of experienced winners and dudes on the cusp of being top dog. Jo, Hampshire, Hunter, J-Mart, J-Coop, Kitchen, Vialle I'm pumped to see too. PC and their youngsters ready to stir up the mix. Of course Deegan too. Dam the top 10-15 looks promising. Exciting stuff boys!
That's a shame man, thanks for the heads up. I saw he was pretty beat up, but just assumed he'd show up later in the season.
Disappointing news, but if he comes back fully healthy in the end then I'm all for it.
