lol Yeah it must be nostalgia because the 87 KX 80 was light years ahead of the YZ that year and pretty much every year of that decade. If you were'nt on the KX80 in the 1980's you were at a huge disadvantage.

I guess now that I think about it my favorite bike would have to be my 1st bike at 3 1/2 years old. The Indian Pee Wee. This pic isn't mine but it's the same bike. My dad had mine painted up like his Husky. He had the chrome patch on the tank and all the stock Husky stickers on it.

The 1985 kx80 was a rocket ship w/out DMC so I'm sure after Mr. Miller tricked it out it was scary fast. ..The 1985 handled like a tank compared to the 86 but was way faster then the 86.

My current bike, 2005 RMZ450.

Second place goes to my 2001 KX250. Great bike.

My Dad brought one home when i was 5. I got to ride it once and my mom made him sell it immediately after she saw it. They divorced shortly after. I still hate her for that. I loved my 98 Cr250. Not so much for a mx'er but it was a great flat tracker. I won a few state championships on.

98' KX250.

Two most disappointing bikes ever for me were the '87 KX250 and '93 RM125. On tracks with any long straights stock YZ's and CR's would put yards on the KX. Forks were garbage without the cartridge kit. Even my old '83 YZ250 had a better spread of power. The '93 RM125 was just plain slow, although a great handling bike.

'87 CR500 was my all time favorite. That bike would run.

Matt---How'd you like the 99 RM250? In my opinion that was the best RM built. I had an 01 and the whole year wished I had my 99 back.

I wish I could scan a photo of me on my dad's 87 Xr250 at an infant. Great memories sitting on the tank and being wheelied around. Even remember riding over an Alligator once riding to my favorite hill while hanging on to the crossbar pad.

Great memories for sure, my dad would take me on long trail rides on the tank of his Husky.

Then i got my MR50 (but actually learned earlier on a Z50)

2006 YZ 125 and 250. My 2004 CR 125 is a toad compared to my 2006 YZ 125. However, all three of those bikes are bad ass.

My CR 80 RD was the first bike I bought myself, loved it to death until Kawasaki put a disc brake on the KX 80 F1 and I kept getting whipped!
YZ 100 J because it was big and I thought it looked like a 490!
CR 125 RF cause it was Faaaaast!
KTM 360 (97 I think) cause it was REALLY FAST & HANDLED
YZ 426 (99 I think) cause it was my first race bike after 'retirement'
YZ 250F 01 cause I set my fastest lap on that little sucker.

Lots of other good times but those are the ones I remember with a big smile
