Jett ‘23 outdoor title?

The guys never rode a 450 outdoors, and you guys have him beating arguably the fastest outdoor rider in the world.

Didn't he just beat both Sexton and Ferandis, at his only Mxon ride, less than a year ago?

In the mid, yes. Go watch the qualifying race the day before when it was dry.

Does Jett have some kind of advantage over the others in the mud then??

Chase will win the title.

Jett is a freak of nature, but what we saw last year outdoors with Sexton and his speed indoors is on another level.

I think Jett had far more speed than he showed this year and rode to the level he needed to.  He has shown amazing maturity compared to prior years.  I don't care who wins, but hoping for an HRC battle at the front with Ferrandis up there in the mix and maybe others.

Ferrandis already beat Jett for an outdoor title, he’ll do it again

The latest title 24 vlog with Ricky, Villapoto and Jett was a really good watch, they said Jett has been riding the 450 since mxon and only rides the 250 on race day which is crazy.

They also confirmed Sexton to KTM

Jett is certainly fast enough, the main problem I see is he isn't experienced being pushed the whole moto at his fastest pace. He's just been cruising it in the last couple years not riding on the edge, while Sexton had a whole summer on the edge last year.

That, to me, is the biggest thing that can hold Jett back when he moves up. He hasn't had to deal with 2-3 other guys riding at his level for whole motos, let alone a whole season. And you're crazy if you think Jett is a level above Sexton and healthy Ferrandis ("you" in general, not you in particular).

I’m not a huge Lawrence brother fan but I better learn to be one because Jett is going to dominate the next 10 years.

I hope Jett does well. He's fun to watch, so smooth. It wouldn't surprise me if he wins, or just gets a couple overall wins. I just hope that everybody stays healthy for the entire season and the racing is good. Its been a rough couple weeks with injuries.

I think crowning Jett at this point is misguided but comparing Deegan and Jett is laughable

RV2 and RC4 just had Jett on the last podcast and had a great conversation about this... you could tell Jetts confidence is through the roof and believes he can win.

Was Good/Weird hearing how he doesn't see Sexton as a threat. But hes more upset he might not get to battle Tomac and learn from a legend. Was cool to hear the amount of respect Jett has for Eli and how much he was lookin forward to racing against him.

I think we might see him battle for the Red Plate sooner then we expected. depleted field or stacked. don't think it makes a difference

I really hope we see a season like last years and Eli end sexton. Time will tell.

If Ferandis is healthy he can beat Jeff, as can Sexton.  Big bikes are different, remember how much RC crashed when he moved up after dominating 125s?  Not gonna be as easy as Jeff thinks.  And yes I call him Jeff because Jett is a stupid name.

What about his comment something along the lines of.

"I'm bummed to not race Eli as I was looking forward to learning a lot from tomac. Coz I can tell you now I'm not going to learn anything from chase."

Damn.

He flexed there with the Chase comment and the earlier MXON mention.

The other rider he mentioned was Dylan and sort of implied he sees him as ä serious rival.

RC or RV should have asked "What about Hunter?"

RC won 9 of 12 Nationals in his rookie year including the first one he ever entered. Usually guys struggle more at Supercross then Motocross after moving up.

James Stewart at High Point 2005: “I’ll tell you right now there ain’t gonna be no 24-0 this year”

He was right, RC didn’t go 24-0. But James didn’t beat him that year.

When guys like Jett hang out in the 250 class longer than they should, they get a little overconfident. It’s easy to think you’re the next MC when you are working Enzo Lopes week in and week out.

I guess we’ll see what happens in a few weeks

Working Enzo Lopes?

RC has said on several occasions that he regards Jett as a better rider than himself- but you knew that.

Longer then he should? He’s still a teenager.

The past 13 years at least three 450 rookies has won the outdoor nationals. It’s not like it’s something super-special and unheard of.

I thought the chase comment meant because he rides at the test track with  him......and gets mentoring from him ?

That's right, he's just saying he knows how Chase rides and wanted to learn off someone else like Eli.

Jetts gonna hurt himself on that 450. Honda was gonna have him race some east coast 450 rounds until he showed  how sketchy he was.
