Yeah I will probably never understand how there is riders in the world that race this series without a salary, but I have a lot of fucking respect for them..

I would honestly be surprised to see Cooper race SX again this season. Looked like a pretty serious concussion and no reason to risk it with 2 races to go.

Will medical clear him to race? They did with McAdoo and KTM has more pull...he could of also broken his neck or some ribs, but  hes one tough dude and if he's at all capable of riding, he'll be back out there.. They should of put a neckbrace on for preventative measures. I want Eli to win but I want to see Webb out there battling to see this go down to the last round.. he just got too ahead of himself, imo, you could tell that in the corner prior. Even if he beat Eli in a heat, so what? I just don't see it effecting Eli mentally, Eli is always better in the main anyway and now his confidence just went through the roof...Webb's never been in this position with 3 rounds left and down in points, I think he may of finally been affected mentally after last weekend..and then you know next week is at altitude where Eli should have an advantage, so he had to have pressure to make up points tonight.

In general, you cant close that much of a raw speed gap without things getting sketchy, his bike isn't even set up for that added speed and to work like that, so it's not going to work like normal anywhere.. idk, that's just a bummer.

Update, he's out, what a crazy season but bummer way to end it... I don't think there's any chance of Sexton winning, Eli would need to finish off the podium each round if Sexton wins out, that'd actually tie them and the tie breaker going to Eli. With Webb gone potentially for the final two to heal and get ready for outdoors (potentially), there's not enough guys to get between them consistently for that to happen.

Looked to me like the shit ass dirt blew out when Webb was exiting the turn.

I can’t believe how much carnage there has been already. Hate to see it.

I’m thankful my gfs daughter rarely asks to ride anymore. I used to ask her and she always said yes.

this track is about to be a block pass bonanza in the lcq's and mains.

He did, but he was locked in his line and Webb was still going down as AC was already at the apex of the corner... if he hit the brakes, that's just going to stand the bike up and pull him up and out of the rut, even more in line with Webb.. he did what he could to avoid it/have the best outcome, which wasn't many options in general.

He also had guys on his inside, he just didn't have the time or space to avoid Webb. Webb just crashed at the perfect place at the perfect time for that to happen the way it did.. bummer deal all around.

He got above the rut in the turn and into the soft stuff and the front washed when he tried to cut back down. The hit was just bad luck being early in the race. AC had a rider inside and .4 to react and almost missed him

Cartwright effed around too much and lost the transfer position.

He couldn't go outside without running over Cooper and his bike, and I think you can see him trying to get as far inside as he could but didn't have the room to clear him.  Such a bummer and as impaired as he seemed to be that one may take awhile to clear.

Your experience doesn't matter to me if I don't know what it is.   Seems to drive your opinion here, though.

If AC9 had the amount of spare time/faculties to make a decision to deviate from factory-ride-level reflexes, he would've been going so slow that he wouldn't have a pro license to begin with.

Would have loved to see it but they showed Barcia rolling around for a minute

stews 60 was a full factory 450 by the sounds of it🤣 that was awful. whoever made the choice to put those sounds on that segment should be fired

Trying to mess with Eli and rough him up a bit to try and mess with his head really backfired, the look back showed he didn't appreciate the move and probably motive him more. Will Webb be back for lcq or is he out with leaving stadium?

I’ve always been a fan of ac but he clearly shit the bed there.

That's pretty easy to say things like that from the couch , when in reality it happens in a split second. Adam was already 1/2 way through that corner with it pinned , and Cooper being on the ground 20' in front of him.

The reaction time these top guys have , are already above normal, and in this situation, there wasn't anything AC could do there.

im not mad at AC at all, but didn't look like he even attempted to slow down there. if this was "unavoidable," why does it not happen every weekend when dudes fall down in front of others exiting a corner? lol. super weird.

It does happen every weekend, just not so dramatically. The time from when Cooper fell to the time AC hit him is tenths of a second.

yea you're right. im just looking at it from a standpoint of if i see someone in front of me, i probably try and brake and not obliterate the guy. but my ceiling was a shitty b rider so ive never gone this fast exiting a turn lmfao

As mentioned,  AC was already committed to the apex and was exiting the turn on the gas. His front wheel wasnt even on the ground, so it was inevitable. Just wrong place, wrong time which is an easy place to be in supercross unfortunately. Tough spot for both guys, hopefully nothing serious for Cooper.

Of you watch the replay, it looks like AC attempts to cut down early but his front tire misses the rut and he drifts over into Webb. It’s a lot easier to think everything could be avoided when you’re watching things in stow motion.

I'm aware what caused him to lose  the front, i wasn't questioning that, i'm just saying he was trying to make things happen too quickly in order to get around Tomac and that's what led him to be in that position.. he had way too much speed coming in to that corner, which isn't the shitty dirts fault, that's over riding what the track is giving you. You could see in his body English in both those corners and in the rhythm lane prior he was over riding and being more agressive than normal to make a pass and not allow Tomac to get away.. in a main, I get it, you cant lose anymore points, but it was only a heat race

Regardless, I hate that for him and all racing fans.

Seems like the only passing opportunities will be the two corners after the whoops in the mains. I get that the sand section was planned to be a split lane but the bumps in the inside just make it one line aswell..
