Was wondering if we'd get a post on McAdoo... Or if the Pro Circuit curse was so predictable that it wasn't going to make news.
Sucks, the kid has had a rough time and Mitch... Damn.
Any idea of the of the severity of his injury?
Ac speration? Collarbone?
The old open ended uht ohh.
Dude seems to be on 11 all the time these days.

Must have been a big one. Cam doesn’t sit out unless it’s really bad.
Hard to believe this is round 12 and only 1 main event where 2 PC riders lined up.
Someone send some doobies over to the PC test track. Those dudes need to chill.
nah. A1 counts
Forkner made it what 40 yards ?
Almost hard to believe
Its like PC needs a reboot..
cant be just bad luck at this point
Not to say any of their riders suck or the bike etc... Amazing riders and I'm a Kawi guy. I just think that team needs a big change in some way.
Have to line up to make it 40 yards.
"I just think that team needs a big change in some way."
Like what? What would you change?
Return to PC roots with Husqvarna.
Rumour has Monster leaving Kawasaki anyway.
Interesting. Where did you hear that? Or did you just come up with that on your own?
isn't ryder d doing glendale this weekend?
Pit Row
Looks like Mitch should've signed Ronnie Mac after all.
How would that prevent injuries? The PC team has it's reputation from being dominant on Kawi's. You could point towards their training/practice program but these guys are also getting busted up during night shows or qualifying.
I have no idea wtf the problem could be other than bad fking luck. Doesn't seem to matter who the rider is, who the trainer is, these guys keep dropping like flies and it's been over several years now.
i don't know. I'm not part of the team hahah
but I just think of it as if its any other business that's going through struggles.
Change of recruitment process. Seek up and coming MXGP or overseas talent and not focus on Loretta performances as much. Maybe look for riders they can develop instead of pure speed when at these Amature events.
maybe seek different training facility/training programs.
change of manufacture.
change of contracts with riders and bonuses etc. not as result driven and less pressure?
honestly all of them are just ideas on the topic. i wouldn't say any of these are the right choice. more or less saying change can be a good thing when what your doing isn't working.
It's tempting to say this too, but every team goes through a slump. I do think they have not gotten first rate talent in a while besides forkner, who is a human porcelain toothpick.
gotta be somethign bike related. just statistically impossible for it not to be. some subtle linkage attribute or chassis geometry where the bike ONLY works at 10/10ths and bites your ass in practice.
Anybody ready to start listening to me that it’s a Kawi program problem?
They have had number of riders who had records at Loretta's and hype around being the next best.
Hence why i think maybe they should be recruiting a different approach.
How so? I'm not asking in an asshole-ish way I legitimately wanna know how the "Kawi Program" would be at fault and what they're doing wrong. Anderson has been fine, Tomac was fine for years. It only seems to be PC (I'm excluding AC because he's always been hurt his whole career). If the entire team had the same trainer and regimen I could see the point. Plus this has been going on for several years now.
I have a hard time believing that switching bike brands would suddenly resolve the injury problems but I could be wrong, I just don't understand how. The Star team seems to get a lot of injuries but they have so many damn riders you hardly even notice it.
Not surprising. Sucks.
Sucks for all but I firmly believe that it’s a PC culture issue. Either consciously or subconsciously it seems tremendous pressures are being put on these guys. No way in hell it’s “a slump”.
Unless it was a bike malfunction I am not surprised, nothing to do with PC no offence to Cam(big fan) but he hasn't proven to stay on 2 wheels for long in previous seasons.
Forkner is also in the same category as Cam as well as AC was, PC have picked some major crashers in recent years.
Agree'd ever since AC they have recruited riders who are prone to crashing, thats not to take away from the riders they were a very good pick at the time, Cam and Austin in particular they have never in their career shown that they can handle their own speed for a full season.
Post a reply to: PC Curse continues...McAdoo out April of 2023!!!
