He doesn't seem to be hurting for money at the moment from what he posts on snapchat when he does post

As an example, BarX staff was warned by many not to hire him, and given the reasons it hadn't worked out in the past. They said they could "manage him", but that didn't last long. When I had my short-lived operation a friend from Texas kept telling me to look towards him but I was also given advice by others why not to pursue it...then I watched AEO experience what I was warned of. There was a Pro Circuit test with him at one point, in the winter of 2020.

About what I assumed. lol

I always say it, in team sports they call a guy like that a coach killer. You are so enamored with his talent, and you know you can fix him but at the end of the day when the athlete continues to do as he has always done the coach is looking for a new job.

Thanks man. People getting wild in here. One guy is spouting nonsense about a drug problem. Not you, but still ridiculous. Love the civility on your end.

The idiot/idiots advising his career choices are going to feel really stupid when this kid is 25 and working at home depot. What a waste of unreal raw speed.

Brutal way of putting it although I don't disagree. Seems like a severe case of career mismanagement for sure. Some of the privateers who have been going at it for years with increasing results (Derek Kelley comes to mind) would kill for one of the ten opportunities he has had.

Zoom, knows whats up, & chasetwo79 knows some too.

Off the bike Ty trains hard, and on the bike Ty trains hard. Supercross might not be totally his thing, but if he does a round or 2 on Green, expect better results than the few west coast earlier this season.

There are many pros that train and utilize Masterpool's HIS956 facility and run laps with Ty. Maybe not top 15 AMA guys as Brent says, but plenty of fast pros any given week. I've seen him run 30 minute moto's and his speed is good.

I think his injuries have kept him from being consistent as he would like. His speed in SX has not been quite what even Ty has hoped for. Its very hard to run a great "team" program when you don't have all the support you really need, and injuries have set him back on opportunities he's had. But I know for sure he's in shape, pushing hard, only looking forward. He will be ready to make a run outdoors. Ty is a racer, He will get your attention yet this year

Going to "Quote" myself, as on March 28th, I hinted that Ty would get your attention this year. Seems a lot of folks are now talking about him. He works his ass off, has great talent, I'm happy for him.

What I saw was a racer with a lot of heart and determination. When he went WFO cross rutting and passed Webb that was pure heart.

Come on man, that wasn’t a hint. You  made the statement and you were right.

Hope he stays healthy and keeps building.

I know a very famous motocross rider who got into rehab for drinking to much energy drinks. That made him also sweat a lot and didn't cope with the heat to good. 🤐🤫

Awesome ride. As far as the off track and attitude or whatever is holding him up. Go to work do your job. It really isn’t a secret.

He is really riding amazing on the 450.  His line choices are very interesting, he is definitely thinking outside the box.  Speaking on tv is tough and I thought he came off good. It was strange though no mention of sport clips or his other sponsors.  The shout out to the suspension was a bit odd, with no mention of who does it.  He is riding awesome and full props for that.

exactly.  A lot of these cheeto fingers in here dont realize for instance what addiction is... im thinking...  Them coming here daily, could be an addiction.

Even if you drink once a week...  But its every friday night and you wait for that check and that friday night every week...  You are addicted.  Its not about how much.

You can get addicted to cheeseburgers.  -like more than half of americans already are

you can also turn a healthy addiction into a very unhealthy addiction

Very very few people are going to rehab for anything other than chemical dependence. His brother died, maybe he went off the deep end because of it and needed help to pull himself out. Wouldn't surprise me if all his "issues" stem from that incident.

That was 2 incredible rides, was so bummed he got passed back on the last lap for 3rd in that 2nd moto. And to go 5-4 for 6th overall, what a strange combo of points to make that happen.

But great to have an "underdog" to cheer for, he looked fantastic. Yes it is a depleted field, but he still passed numerous factory riders, so not like he lucked into a great start and just held them off. He caught and passed several past champions. Amazing ride.

In terms of shout outs: Beachview Treatment is literally one of his mx title sponsors. Right below Sport Clips on his jersey. (Also note the Jesse graphics).

I know nothing about Ty’s personal situation but that second Moto charge was the most exciting thing we’ve seen in the 450 class this year.  Awesome ride.

Sport clips is a pretty big company that’s for sure, if it’s the one I’m thinking about. Good for him and his team if so.

Sure he's bounced around teams like a freshman sorority girl but the kid can ride. Maybe Star will call him back now that Ferres is hurt.
