Deegan Press Conference Comment

Stand his ground? He started it...

They say deegan is young, but in that press conference he behaved like a prepurtal little kid

If Jordan Smith was concerned about his title hopes he should’ve realized it was a “qualifier with no points or championship implications” and backed off and settled for just getting in.  He is supposed to be the “Veteran”.   Izer acted like a little boy who didn’t get the answer he wanted from mommy and Hunter’s comment was spot on!   People bitch about everything and have selective amnesia when it’s their guy doing the rubbing.  Can’t have it both ways depending on which end your guy is on.  

Deegan is literally the teenager that works with a bunch of mid twenty early thirty jack asses that screw with him on job sites. Most of us have been in a similar dynamic at some point I assume. Does anyone think for a moment his teammates and fellow riders in his class are not envious of him and pull shit on him all the time away from the cameras? Does anyone think Smith doesn't think that he was once where Deegan is now, and it pisses him off that his own career is basically squandered? Anytime Deegan can get payback is sweet. Go get them Deegan.

Izer went too far. I’m all for the media asking tough questions… but you can’t just scold him until you get the answer you want. Props to 96. Deegan earned his place on the box. He’s not a kid in detention. Great night of racing.

Being the aggressor when trying to pass around the outside? What are these guys supposed to do, not pass unless the person in front of them falls too. 

I've never seen outrage of racing incident where the guy who stayed up is blamed for the guy running into him and taking himself out, there is no other explanation for this incident, had Deegan taken out Smith from inside in the previous turns sure I'd expect some salt on here, but Smith took himself out if you cannot see that I don't know what to say, the hysteria on here is like when Ferrandis took out CC.

Anyway Deegan looked pretty damn stokked in the press conference but nervous, it was pretty obvious he was told by whoever to be neutral when asked the question it's also apparent he is not mentality equipped yet to answer questions like an Adult would, he was all over the shop, but anyway what is he meant to say regarding the incident when Smith rode into him and fell on his own accord?

I missed the part where Deegan took Smith out ,I saw the part where Smith was riding aggressively and ended up eating shit .

Was Deegans moves aggressive? Yes. Could Smith have gotten back up and kept himself out of the LCQ? Absolutely. But ultimately he crashed himself out of the main event. I'm a big supporter of both riders, Smith took himself out of the main event not Deegan..  

The media got exactly what it deserved. This kid has literally been under the microscope his whole life. So, yeah he has every right to be a smart arse when he is literally getting attacked at every angle no matter what he does. Smith being the “vet” of the class like he is should have toned it down. Obviously a heat race win is most important to Deegan then it is to him. He paid the price in my opinion. It’s actually so frustrating seeing the hate he gets so often. Extremely talented and bringing something new to the sport. The reason these riders get so boring in interviews is because the likes of y’all in the comments moaning and groaning. Props to Hunter as well. 

These moto dudes are pretty pathetic with handling good media questioning. 
 

you guys that are standing up for them pushing back on the media questions, you need to go and watch other real press conferences. When Tiger Woods and his wife were going through their nasty divorce the media would ask him about that in his post round golf interviews. Actually you could even watch the golf series on Netflix called, Full Swing. After their matches they grill them asking them if they were going to join the new LIV series and not even about the match they just played.

Quit acting entitled and answer the questions moto dudes and they won’t keep asking you about it. Plain and simple.

I’d say that these were just racing incidents and nothing wrong with them, but I’m sure Haiden remembered them.

Haiden rode aggressive, he did absolutely nothing wrong, in my opinion. Jordon got frustrated and took himself out trying to force a pass at a bad time. 
 

Whenever someone is in the spotlight, there will be supporters and there will be haters. It’s never going to change… I’m glad to see Haiden not roll over and let Jordon by. He’s in this championship hunt and has every reason to fight for position. 

Glad he thinks the whole thing is a joke.  What we have here is a guy trying to win a heat race and his slower teammate trying to prevent it by playing rollerball. Smith was anything but the aggressor and as always a Deegan trying to deflect blame. Get used to it because it's not going to change anytime soon, same as it ever was.

Izzer was over the line with his questioning. Like stated before he was basically lecturing the podium and then when there was awkward silence because he used a statement instead of a question everyone was thinking wtf…

The amount of Deegan hate is equally matched with the amount of Deegan worship. So I’ll give the unbiased take  

The kid made a stupid rookie mistake, and finished it off with a stupid comment. His fans need to admit this. 
 

 Jordan Smith was equally stupid when he came back at him instead of being patient, he’s a veteran rider, he shouldn’t have let his emotions so far out of the bag.

For the record I’m not a fan of the kid and he came off pretty immature and douchey in the presser but the kid has talent. 

The face you make when everyone talks about Hunter and Haiden but you got 2nd and are having the best season of your career.

Smith had the speed over Deegan to wait and make a clean easy pass later on or wait for a Deegan mistake cause he was making many, like a rookie does.

I am not saying he doesn't have talent. I am saying he just doesn't get it constantly so for years. You first have to acknowledge your wrong so it can be prevented. I see no acknowledgement of anything other than "I am ABMF" here.

You already put a time frame on it by saying he would never win one.
