If you ever get a chance to go to this gp go, the track and the whole area are amazing , and the food they sell at the track  is worth the. Trip alone

It's such a shame that it isn't easier for people to get to... Truthfully, it's something that needs to be seen to be believed!

Seewer gives funny/interesting interviews, but let’s be real here, there is absolutely no shot this guy gets a title. I feel he is being overhyped as a legit contender. In the MXGP pod, Lewis asked of the group of Herlings, Prado, Seewer, Renaux, and Febvre, who drops out from championship contention first?(or something along those lines) and I think the answer is obvious. The only guy in that group who’s not a proven champion, the only guy who hasn’t really ran out front when everyone else is healthy, Jeremy Seewer. I feel he is a lot like Barcia, blinding speed at times, he’ll be there to collect podiums when others go down, but unless all 4 of the other title guys go down with injuries he’ll finish about 5th overall…which is fine, he’s an amazing rider, but when I hear people putting him in the title conversation I just think there’s no basis for that.

I guess I have three points in reply to that... 1) From Ernee last year, he almost matched Gajser on points. That was only nine rounds...

I guess I have three points in reply to that...

1) From Ernee last year, he almost matched Gajser on points. That was only nine rounds, sure, but I think it means something.

2) Second in the points five times means something. I don't think he's ever been second through pure luck (apart from 2019)...

3) Is Prado better than Seewer at his peak? Probably, but that's been missing for a while. The same goes for Febvre.

I feel like when Tim had that big of a championship lead, even if he won’t admit it, he was riding conservative. Jeremy was good to end the year, but the championship was long gone, and he still only got 3 wins. The field was weakened and there’s a couple guys who got wins last year that I highly doubt will again this year.

Getting 2nd over and over is a huge accomplishment yes, but every time it was a HUGELY distant 2nd and other major contenders went down with injury.

The last time Prado and Febvre were fully healthy in 2021, they were head and shoulders above Jeremy, firmly in the title fight. Both riders are proven champions, and Renaux is poised to get right in there with them this year.

This being a contract year for Jeremy, let’s hope he can be a legit threat all the way through. But I predict this season will be like the others, over 70 points behind the leader at least by seasons end.

On your point about Febvre and Prado in 2021, it's only fair to say that Seewer had Epstein Barr all year and was not good.

The reason he was a distant second last year was because of how he started. It'll be a good sign if he comes out firing today.

Totally forgot about him being sick that year so for sure that’s a legit excuse. We’ll see, this is a huge year for all 3 Yamaha guys.

Jago is coming and I think he’s going to dominate this year, which will create a lot of hype. The young kids will have their moments but I think Geerts wins mx2 with at least a round or two to go.

Not great quality drone video but shows what a spectacular track it is.

I'm suddenly overcome with Prado hype! I didn't expect Herlings to have that speed in the very first session though...

Might go a little off topic here, but i just got to think about KTM 350, why is’nt anyone in the GP’s or US SX/MX on a 350 these days? Has it too much less power than a 450?

Is fevbre 100 % ?

The only guy to challenge 84 has gotten hurt. If Herlings can pace himself and not try to be the fastest all the time theres nobody in the GPs that will challenge him.

As far as I know but it was only for the MXGP class as MX2 was all together. Maybe there's a rule to separate them if there are over 40 entries in a given class.

I think Gajser is better than Prado but in my opinion Gajser hasn't challenged Herlings much, whereas Prado definitely has

MXGP will allow more then 40 entries, MX2 not.

I assume that is so emx250 riders dont do MX2.

When MXGP has more then 40 riders entered the oat riders are automatically in the gp. The wildcard riders do a seperate qualifying for the remaining spots.

He had an injury in the off-season and didn't get back onto the bike too long ago.

Probably trying to call Jacky Martens right now since Mclellan dislocated his shoulder again in free practice…

KTM will find room for him as soon as there is an injury – they were already trying to house him somewhere.

I believe JWR talked to him about a 450F seat, but he said no. I'd bet that he ends up there in 2024 though.

Only 4 Austrian bikes in the full time rider mx1 practice is a surprise ,

WTH? Pinch Seewer dismounting mid air... with Gajser gone, Herling looking pedestrian this should have been his year...

Am i the only one shocked how wild and "oversteery" he rode?
